'RINGGGGG!' My alarm clock rang. I growled. I looked at the time. Oh my god! It's 9 o'clock on the morning! I'm going to be late for my appointment with Chris. I jumped out of my bed and went to the nearest window to get some fresh air from outside. I opened the curtain and get greeted by dark clouds.

Lightning and thunder every minute.

Today have come much faster than the other days. But it turned out to be a bad day for me. Getting late. Bad weather. The contractions still can be felt. But luckily, the vomiting stops. At least that makes me happy so that I don't need to go to the bathroom every ten minutes. I sighed.

I rushed to my bathroom and have a quick shower. I took off my night clothes and stepped into the shower. I turned on the tap to the shower and water starts pouring down. Ahh.. What a nice feeling. I smiled. But then, during the shower, I keep thinking on what to start on first when I meet Chris. It's been two weeks since Chris and I first met so it's going to be awkward. Also, millions of questions were wondering in my head.

Will he accept me? Will he asked for abortion? Where can I get a taco around this area.. Wait what? Why am I thinking that? I shook my head which also means that I shook my thoughts away.

I turned off the tap to my shower and dry myself up. I went to my closet and try to find something finest to wear so that people don't suspect that I'm from a poor family with just a father. I picked out my only blue, jean-material summer dress and also a black, long-sleeved cardigan to match with the dress. And to fully match with the outfit, I wear my favourite black, high-top converse. I looked myself at the wall mirror.

Man, I look pretty hot. I giggled to myself. That makes me more cuter, I thought. After fooling myself, I shook my head and decided to fix my hair. I brushed my hair and after that, I tied them into a simple ponytail, leaving my long fringe undone and covered my right eye. After my final touch-up, I looked at my alarm clock. It's already 9:30am! I'm so gonna be late. I quickly grabbed my money from my savings and went out of the house. I then hailed a cab and told the driver to Chris' office.

The ride to Chris' office in the cab is pretty much nil. I wished I have my own car or at least a motorcycle so that I don't need to borrow my dad's. So I took out my phone from the purse that I wore for the party that night. Yup, I haven't gave the purse to Olivia yet. Sorry Olivia... My text with Olivia was started with my panic question in caps, "WHAT SHOULD I SAY TO HIM?!"

And I get a reply from her... Five minutes later. She apologized for not answering me right away because she was having a lesson. And yes, I ditched school today just to see Chris and tell him about me, carrying his heir. After a few minutes of texting Olivia, we've arrived right in front of a tall building - skyscraper, to be clear. I paid the driver and thanked him before getting out from his cab. I took a deep breath. Here we go..

I went into the building and straight away signed my name at the reception table. The receptionist asked me to have a seat near the elevator to Chris' office, I think, and wait for his approval to let me went into his office. I nodded and obeyed her orders. After sitting down at a very comfortable leather chair, both of my legs start to shake. I also feel myself, starting to sweat. Cold sweats. Goosebumps also appear on my skin. I swallowed my saliva and take a deep breath to calm myself down. Luckily it works. I blew the air that I took away and looked down.

Suddenly, the receptionist approached me and faced me. She then said:

"Miss Evans, Mr. Cortes will see you now."

Oh god. It's time... I stood up and straightened my clothes. I even fixed my hair, doesn't care that the receptionist watches me grooming up to look perfect. Just for him.
