-Melissa's POV-

"Are you freaking serious?" I slapped Oliver's back hard while giggling. To be honest, being at school is much more better than at home. Right now, my friends and I, including James, walking towards the school parking lot, ready to go home.

"Yes. Mrs. Schneider just embarrassed herself in front of the class." Oliver laughed. Man, I'm really happy to have friends like this. Making jokes and such, not like at home... Keep on worrying what problem will come next.

"So, she spilled her beverage and her boobs can be seen? Right in front of the students?" Olivia asked her twin brother. Oliver vigorously nodded. All of us laughed, leaving an echo through the school hallway as we are kind of the only one in the school.

"God, I hope I was there!" James teased. I playfully smacked his right arm, making him laugh more. He then wrapped his arm around my shoulder, bringing me close. The twins looked at us as if we are hiding something important. Olivia cleared her throat and asked us a kinda stupid question.

"Erm, are you guys like patched back together?" That question made both of us stopped our tracks. We both looked at them and shook our heads, saying 'no' at the same time. Olivia just raised an eyebrow and opened the exit door, leading to the parking lot. I quickly pushed away from James and went towards Olivia's side. Well, that turned out awkward. I pulled Olivia's arm and angrily whispered at her ear.

"Thanks for making us awkward." I rolled my eyes and went for my car. It turned out that James' and my car are parked side by side. Oh god. More awkwardness. But James just act normally as if nothing happened just now. As soon as I unlocked my car, James shamelessly opened the car door for me, trying to act like a gentleman. I smiled at him and went in. I started the engine. I turned my attention to James. I thanked him and say my goodbye before driving off. He just winked and waved, making me blush a little. I looked at the rear mirror and saw him smirking. The smirk that I always fall for.

'DING!' The elevator door opened. I stepped out and punched in the combination to our penthouse. I opened the front door and I was greeted by Chris. A smiling Chris. God, it's been so long since I see him elated. I put my backpack at the side and ran towards him, giving him a warm hug. He picked me up, making my legs automatically wrapped around his waist, hugging me tight. I buried my face at the crook of his neck. I sighed in relief. I really miss this feeling, being happy with him.

"So, how's school?" He asked while soothing my hair. I pulled away from him a little so I can talk to him eye in eye. His eyes softened. He also have a smile plastered on his face. What is wrong with him? Why is he so happy today? I cleared my throat before telling him my day at school.

"Well, so far it's great. There's lots of good news from the principal. First of all, we're gonna have a vacation with our form class to Los Angeles for a week. And it was held next week. Secondly, our prom night is a black and white masquerade ball. And lastly, I don't have any detention or homework today." I explained to him from A to Z. He just smiled at me as if he doesn't care and just allowed me to go for the vacation and the prom night.

"Sounds fun." He said bluntly. His tone doesn't really suits his facial expression. But I don't really care as maybe he is too tired with his work. I grinned from ear to ear and without a second thought, I met his lips with mine. He replied my kiss by bringing me closer so that the kiss is deeper. I gripped a handful of his hair and pulled him away, taking a deep breath. He groaned and impatiently crashed his lips with mine. I moaned and melted towards his body. I could feel my back was pressed against the front door. He pressed himself forward, making me able to feel his erection. But our kiss just stopped there as we were interrupted by a loud 'clink' in the kitchen.
