When we were young, we were told the importance of a mate. Blessed by the Moon Goddess, a mate was the one soul created specifically for you. We were taught to love, honor and protect our mate. No sacrifice is too great when it comes to the other half of your being.
We were also taught that family comes first. Not just blood, but family. A pack is a family. You cherish those who make your world a place of peace and vitality. When one member mourns, we all mourn. We relish in one another's achievements. We take others into consideration.
Being an Alpha is a great honor. For some it is by birthright and for others it is by appointment. For me, it was thru my birthright and a sacrifice that I can never repay.
