To the story..............................

The next day I was in school and I was spaced out most of the day. I was worried about everything, my mind was racing and I was nervous and afraid. I was afraid the Accords was going to tear my family apart. Then I was pissed at my Dad again because of the whole situation with my biological mom. “Thalia!” Jade shook me to get my attention.

“Thirty-two!” I answered.

“Are you okay, Tally?” Cat asked.

“I’m fine.” I lied. I was a fucking mess.

“Bull fucking shit.” Jade told me.  “While you were spaced out I was texting Peter, MJ and Ned. What’s going on?”

“Shit is changing, probably for the worse. The World Council proposed an idea that will probably rip my family apart.” I said on the verge of tears.

“T, what the hell did they propose?” Andre asked.

“The World Council wants to take full control of the Avengers. If something bad happens they would have to call the Avengers. It wouldn’t be such a thing were they are freelance. It’s because of Sokovia. They are blaming this on the Avengers when it’s my Dad’s fault.” I admitted, “My dad told me himself before he told any of the Avengers and the World Council wants me to sign it too but I am refusing to. I know Cap will ffight it because it’s stupid.”

“What will happen if they refuse to sign it?” Cat asked.

“The Avengers will be retired for good.” I sighed, “They are having a meeting about now.”

Tony’s POV…………

“Five years ago, I had a heart attack. I dropped right in the middle of my back-swing. Turned out it was the best round of my life, because after 13 hours of surgery and a triple bypass . . . I found something 40 years in the Army had never taught me: Perspective. The world owes the Avengers an unpayable debt. You have fought for us, protected us, risked your lives . . . but while a great many people see you as heroes, there are some . . . who would prefer the word ‘vigilantes’.” Secretary Ross lectured.

“And what word would you use, Mr. Secretary?” Nat asked.

“How about ‘dangerous’? What would you call a group of US-based, enhanced individuals who routinely ignore sovereign borders and inflict their will wherever they choose and who, frankly, seem unconcerned about what they leave behind?” He asked. Then he showed videos on the holographic screen. “New York.” He showed photos of New York, “Washington D.C.” He showed photos of New York, “and Sokovia.” He showed photos of Sokovia. “For the past four years, you've operated with unlimited power and no supervision. That's an arrangement the governments of the world can no longer tolerate. But I think we have a solution.” He places the Sokovia Accords in front of Wanda. “The Sokovia Accords. Approved by 117 countries . . . it states that the Avengers shall no longer be a private organization. Instead, they'll operate under the supervision of a United Nations panel, only when and if that panel deems it necessary.”
