To the story....... Happy New Year's Eve!
When Sunflower and I started to play, Serpents gathered around the table, waiting to know if their ‘pool king’ would lose his title. He set up and let me break. I thought about letting him win but if I get attached to Sweet Pea, I could be putting him at risk. I was solids and he was stripes. For every single one of my hits I did the math inside my head. I figured I would hustle him a little bit at first make it seem like he was winning for his first two shots then the tables turned and I won. “You weren’t kidding when you said you were good.” Sunflower smirked at me.
“Honestly, I thought I wasn’t going to win for a moment, Sunflower, you play one hell of a game.” I smirked back.
“So, physics? That’s how you won?” He questioned.
“Yup, all the math is in my head, plus half of it was from me spending a lot of time in a bar. My ex taught me the basics of it, I just figured out that it was like any other sports, like baseball. In baseball, it all depends on the force of the hit and the mass of the ball.” I explained while we sat at the bar, drinking.
“So, your ex, who is he?” Sunflower asked.
“You wouldn’t know him. We were friends with benefits before we actually started dating.” I sighed.
