Ash (POV)
I woke up to hear many attacks on the distance. It was only 6:45 in the morning! Everybody in the camp woke up, and smoke came from the battlefield. Charizard flew above the forest, and all I saw was Bulbasaur who had fainted from the battle on the back of Charizard. The poor thing was beaten up by somebody. I grabbed Bulbasaur into my arms and commanded both Pikachu and Greninja who had both woken up with me to make sure that all of my Pokémon were ok and to order the army to do whatever they please. They both ran off while I quickly had to heal Bulbasaur. He had a little note attached to his little leg. I gently ripped it off slowly, and it read, "Dear Ash, Bulbasaur was attacking our Leader, so we had to attack it. You may be her son, but that doesn't mean you get help from us! If you wanted help, you should've joined us. If anymore of your Pokémon touches us, we will go target you. So unless you want harm, stay out of our way. Keep in mind, your only a tiny target. Sincerely, Max and Bonnie." Once again, my feelings were getting hurt by my friends. I felt heartbroken for a moment, but to me that didn't matter. Bulbasaur was my focus right now, and it needs treatment right away. I went underground and had to heal Bulbasaur for a couple of hours. My friends were fighting, and I got my aces dealing with the Pokémon, nothing bad can happen. Right?

Delia(POV)
I feel so much pain being inflicted on me. Our family has been broken and War won't have any effect on Red. Until he wins, nothing will effect Red. He still wants to hunt me down until I'm eliminated. Even with a Legendary Pokemon, I'm scared. Dealing with millions of people is different than being alone. I remember the day Ash left was the worst day of my life. Red slapped me in the face, and his Machamp that day used brick break on me. He stomped out of the house with his group while I sat there on the floor in pain. I did think that day was painful, but at least Ash was safe with Officer Jenny. Plus, my group was there to support, and they did feel like my children. Before the War, Red blew up my house and threatened me. We stayed at Professor Oak's Lab a long with Gary. I had gotten plenty of information about the war before hand, and hearing innocent people were being pulled into this broke my heart. I cried quite a bit, but my friends were here to support me. I wanted to contact Ash, but I didn't want to bother him. I hoped he wasn't alone. I choose Serena and Blue since they were the most caring out of the bunch, and they were all kind to me. We left to Kalos 3 days early, and the place wasn't as crowded as it is in present time. I was allowed to be alone in the forest that day to think to myself. I sat on a fallen tree branch and cried to myself. I made Ash run away, the whole world has to fight in a new war, and now I'm alone. I've failed my purpose in life, but I know that I can't quit. Quitting won't accomplish anything, and plus I have an army to lead. I have new responsibilities to deal with. With or without Ash or a Family, all that matters is that the Pokémon of the wild don't get injured because of me. Arceus has blessed us with Pokémon Partners, and I want to have faith in Arceus. He has gifted us with many things, including life. I want others to live a happy life, and I will not be the cause. When I said that, I felt a mysterious aura around me. It was calming and very magical. Then, a pink mist began to surround me as I began to slowly panic. Then, a Powerful Pokemon stood before me on a cliff. "Xerneas... The Life Pokemon..." I whispered as nearby fairy Pokémon surrounded it. Xerneas walked up to me and took out an empty Poke-ball from my purse. It pressed on it, but I quickly realized it wanted to join me. It was still bobbing, but I quickly released it. The Xerneas looked very at me as if I was going against nature itself.
"Look, I'm grateful that you want to join me, but you have a duty to protect nature and life itself here in Kalos! I know that I just said I want to protect nature, but that includes you, Xerneas." I said while the Deer stared at me. That's when a flag came from the sky above us. No flying Pokémon were nearby, yet here it was. The flag had a picture of a Xerneas. I realized it wanted to help me fight in the war. It probably knew that I would be fighting for the Pokémon, and not for the people. The Xerneas left the area along with all the Pokémon. On the ground was a little present. Inside was an outfit for me. It seemed like something built for war, but had that element of nature built within the outfit. I put it back in the box and headed to my room.
When I arrived, Blue sat in the room with Serena. The two looked like they hid a little secret from me. "Commander Delia, welcome back! We have prepared some Noodles for you to eat." Blue said as Serena put the noodles on a tiny table. "We hope you feel well. After all, this War has effected all of our lives. Your not the only one going through this. We are also here to help." Serena calmly said as I began to think of Ash again. He must've been dealing with the same thing, but worse since he's young. It was 9:00 when I went to bed. The next day after that was all about preparations. Everything had to be in order for this all to work. When the day came, all of my army supported me. They gave me words of encouragement and presents for me. I wasn't allowed to be seen by anyone but the nobles that I had to choose out. I was terrified of everything, and wasn't ready to see Red again. When the time came for our Team to step out into the War, I looked at all the people. The team held the flag, but I looked at the people's eyes. They were sorrow and desperate. They looked dead, but everyone was still alive. When Red arrived my heart started to beat faster and faster, nonstop. His Charizard gave me chills. I remember when it was a friendly Charmeleon and would give me heat at night. When it evolved, it still had a very gentle heart when it wasn't battling. He would take me above the clouds where the sunset was visible. How those days barely lasted. Now, he was a weapon that Red overuses. It's sweet heart has been locked away, deep within. Red held his flag of a Charizard as he landed. However, N asked where was Ash. We began looking for Ash as N finished explaining. We all knew that he would show up here since the world wanted to know what side he would choose. None of us had seen my child, and we didn't know if he was even alive! The whole battlefield was yelling and arguing again. That's when we heard an enormous roar over the whole battlefield. It was definitely a Charizard roar, but it wasn't Red's or anyone here. That's when I saw an army of Pokémon, including a familiar Bulbasaur. "Ash..." I whispered to myself. He was alive, and seems to be doing well. He jumped off his Charizard onto the ground, where his army was right behind him. He seemed to be healthy and hygienic."People of The World, You know me as Ash Ketchum! However, you may know me in many different ways. As a Hero who saved the Earth Multiple times, or as a guy who wants to be a Pokémon Master. A very experienced trainer, or a friend that you travelled with and learned from. However, recently I've been known as the Guy who started this war! I understand why. I never wanted for so many innocent people to come out of their way  to fight for something that means very little to them. For that, I am very sorry, and I hope you don't have to suffer because of this." He said as I began to cry. My son talked like an absolute professional, and seemed to not be scared at this at all. He looked at me and his surrounding, and Serena came to comfort me. He spoke again, "One of the Biggest questions of this War has been what side I would choose. Well I am here to confirm that! After thinking about it over and over again, I have come up with my answer together with my Ace Pokémon. If it weren't for them, the decision I've made would have changed my fate for all I know." That's when one of his Pokémon I couldn't recognized came down from Charizard. It landed elegantly on the ground while it held something. Serena whispered into my ear, "Leader Delia, whatever you do, don't Mess with that Greninja! It can easily destroy you and any trainer that comes. It may not look that special, but it is." Hearing it's name sounded... familiar... I felt like I heard it before. Anyways, I wasn't prepared back then of what Ash was going to say.
"I Choose... To Join Team Ash!"
It was then when I felt numb. He began to explain why, but I wasn't listening. He was correct when he said that it would shock the world. His own flag waved in the air, and Red shouted, "Your No Son of Mine! So you will be the first one to get eliminated by My Team!" My blood was boiling at that man. I wish I never knew him. I wasn't going to attack Ash, I was going to target Red. Once Red is dealt with, I will have to also confront Ash so I can win the war. However, the chances of me winning this war is very low. We all know that, but we keep telling ourselves we have to, in honor of Arceus. That's when five Hyper beams went into the air. PokeWar Z has officially begun. Immediately Red fired at Ash. My son was completely defenseless to protect himself, but that's when his Greninja took all the attacks. I was beginning to get out of control and straight out attack Red with fists, but Blue held me back. "Delia, please! Control yourself. We'll get our revenge soon. Also, Ash shouldn't take too much damage. I'm more worried about his Pokémon." That's when something strange happened . Everybody but Bonnie, Clemont, and Serena were confused. From the smoke was a large pillar of water. It shot straight for the sky, and was actually glowing in some ways. A Shuriken flew out and hit somebody on Red's Team. However, that's when the Pokémon from the smoke appeared. "I Can't Believe It... They Still have it... Ash-Greninja... oh dear Arceus..." Serena said as she began to tear up a bit. The Pokémon indeed did look like Ash, and was about the same height. They stood next to each other, and I used this incident as an advantage. "Team Delia! Focus the Attack on Red! Slightly go to Attack Team Ash too, but not that hard!" I yelled as all the trainers took off. I stood there waiting for my backup. Serena and Blue protected me from any challengers from Red's Team.
That's when Red started walking towards the middle of the field with his Pikachu and Charizard. I went to confront him with Mr.Mime. We stared at each other, but then Ash came with Pikachu and Greninja. Red thought I was weak and that after I lost, he would take Ash."Who says I'm going to be easy to defeat? I have my own secret weapon that came to me yesterday!" I said as some mist rolled over the forest. The Secret Weapon Jumped over the entire battlefield and appeared next to me. "I'd like you to meet Xerneas, my new protector." I told them as their mouths dropped. When I won the war, I was gonna make society right again, and live with Ash as my son. However, me and Red both looked at Ash. He had grown a little bit, and was close to my height now. His clothes were dirty from the smoke, and his hat had little burnt marks. His Pokémon looked threatening to us, and that's when he spoke,"I will defeat BOTH of you and I will win this War hurting as few of innocent people as possible! Just because you wanted me on your side, doesn't mean you can start a war! I will open your eyes and show you that I too am human! Me and my Pokémon will defeat you! Maybe in another dimension I would've joined one of your sides, but my decision is final! This.Is.My.Destiny!" Not going to lie, that made me tear up a bit. Hearing Ash fight is both for the greater good made my heart smile. After he said that, we all went back to our own sides. I announced to my Team, "All Generals on my side will soon fight the other teams Generals. This won't be easy against Red since he has three generals!" From there, we had to keep attacking everyone. I couldn't stop or else they could easily overthrow our entire army.
At 6:00, we retreated back into a mini camp we had set up. We all got our own tents, as we fell asleep. Well, everybody but me. I planned what we were gonna do tomorrow morning, and it was gonna be big. I heard footsteps of somebody. I knew it was Gary. "Gary! Explain to me what you are doing!" I yelled at him as he and his Blastoise were heading towards me. "Delia... I'm sorry... I promised Ash that I would join whatever side he chooses, and I was sure he would join you. So, I was gonna join his side. I hope you'll forgive me. Please don't eliminate me!" He told me as he began to tear up a bit. I could tell he really wanted to be with me, but he promised Ash. "Gary, I'm fine with you leaving, and I'll allow it. However, know that by sunrise of tomorrow you will be an enemy! Also, please keep an eye on Ash. I know he is another leader, but he is my son still." I answered as he gave me a hug. "Thank you for everything you have done, Delia. I hope you stay safe." He told me as he ran off into the woods. I sat there sighing to myself. I hoped Ash was alright with this. I looked into the campfire, and kept thinking about Red. Eventually, I fell asleep.

Author's Note: I know this is a short chapter and that I haven't been releasing these, but life for me had just got busy. I had an essay to write which would determined if I had summer school or not (which I'll write a ton during summer time), plus I'm traveling for Thanksgiving. So, please forgive me if it has been a while. I do promise that this book will finish eventually, but it'll take time. Anyways, I hope you'll still enjoy the book! Have a good day!
