"Y/N do you wanna meet up at the roof for study hall again?" Your best friend Jongho asked as he walked out of class with you. 

"Uhm sorry I'm going to the library today because I have a lot of research that I have to do for the science project." 

"Oh, well I'm gonna come with you then. If that's ok" 

"Oh, ok sounds good. See you after 5th period" you say walking to your next class. You and Jongho had different 5th periods. He had math and you had english. 

Time skip

You walked into the library and found an empty table and sat down taking out your computer and putting an airpod in your left ear so you could still hear. "Side Effects " by Stray Kids started playing and you started working. After a little while, someone comes up from behind you and puts their hands over your eyes. 

"Guess who"

"Jongho what are you doing?" You say taking his hands off your eyes as you look straight at your computer because you know you're blushing. You've always had a small crush on Jongho, but since he has a girlfriend, ans he's your best friend you didn't dare tell him.

"Hi sorry I was a little late. I was talking to Mina." 

Yes you hate to admit it but Jongho was dating Mina. The most popular girl in the school. She always gave you a hard time but you never told Jongho. 

"I have to go to my locker really fast. I'll be right back." you say getting up and walking out.

Time skip again

"Shut up!" Mina yelled at you pouring water over your head. You knew that no one would be there to help as usual so you let her keep attacking you. "Stop talking back and stay away from Jongho! He's my boyfriend not yours!" She yelled kicking you in your stomach. You lay on the ground helpless expecting to feel more pain. But instead you hear a voice yelling at them.

"MINA GET AWAY FROM Y/N! RIGHT NOW!" You look up to see Jongho running towards the scene. He kneeled down next to you. "Y/N are you ok? Oh my God what did she do to you?" He asks

"J-Jongho? W-what are you d-doing here? I thought you h-had a class right now" Mina asked stuttering.

"Wow you don't even know my schedule? I was with Y/N in the library. I have a study hall with her and she had to go to her locker. She was taking to long so I thought something happened to her. CLEARLY something did. Now back off because WE'RE DONE!" Jongho yelled helping you up and grabbing your hand and walking away leading you somewhere.

"W-where are you taking me Jongho?" 

He leads you up to the rooftop and stands as close as he could to you. 

"Y/N, I have something to tell you... I know this is rushed but I realize something now..." he starts as his face slowly gets closer to yours.

"J-Jongho? What a-are you doing?" 

"Y/N, I-I love you! I've loved you for the longest time! I just wanted something to happen with Mina so I can have an excuse to break up with her for you and she won't go after you!"

"Then why did you ask her out in the first place?" you say as tears start forming from your eyes.

"I wanted to get over you. But I realize now that I can't" He says stepping closer to you and pulling you into a tight hug. "I really love you. I get it if you don't like me back but just please believe me."

"Jongho, I love you too. I've loved you ever since I met you." 

"Really?" 

"Yes, and I can prove it" you say as your lips connect to his soft ones.

"You have no idea how long I've been waiting to kiss you" he says looking into your eyes. 

"Stoppppp" you say blushing and hiding your face in your hands.

"No don't hide your face, You're beautiful" He says taking your hands off your face and kissing your forehead.
