Ever since you were in middle school you believed in vampires. People always thought you were crazy to believe in such "creatures". You however, found them to be quite fascinating and interesting. (Why did I word it like that haha. I sound oldddd). Now that you're 23, you started to dedicate your time to study the supernatural. You worked at the library about a block down from your house. 

"Hey Y/N, I'm gonna go now. Don't stay late like you usually do okay?" Your friend Yeji told you as she walked towards the door. 

"Yeah yeah I knowwww" You said laughing. "Hurry up and go to your car. It's getting dark."

"Okayyy. I'll see you tomorrow okay?" 

"Bye Yejiii"

As soon as she walked out the door, you got up and walked over to the vampire section in the library. You scanned through all the books until you found one. You grabbed it and walked back to the front. You grabbed your bag and walked out the door locking up as you left. You didn't drive since your house was pretty close. Suddenly you heard footsteps coming from behind you. You thought it was nothing, until it started speeding up. That caused you to speed up. 

The sounds started to get quieter, and slower. You assumed the person stopped following you. But that's where you were wrong. You got lifted up and pinned to the wall. 

"WHAT THE F-" You yelled as you faced a man in the dark.

"Shhhh. It's okay." 

"NO IT ISN'T-"

"I just want to ask you a question."

"So you pin me to a wall?!? I don't even know you!"

"I'm sorry but I needed to ask you"

"Then ask me normally! don't follow me around in the dark then pin me to a wall in a random alley!"

"I said I was sorry okay?" He said in a low voice. It almost sounded like a growl. With that, his eyes started to turn red, and you saw his teeth protruding from his mouth.

Wait.

It was a growl.

His eyes are red.

Those are fangs...

"W-Wait, are y-you a-"

"A vampire? Yes I am"

"W-What do y-you want with me?"

"Like I said, I need to ask a question." He said smirking at your stuttering

"W-whats t-the question?"

"You believed we existed right?"

"Y-yes."

"You heard about how we are attracted to our mates, and how we know who are mates are before they are born?"

"Y-Yes"

"Well, you're my mate. I've been attracted to your scent for a while."

"W-What?"

"Yes, you have to understand"

"I-I do, but how?"

"I don't know myself how it works, but that connects us together. I have the same thing" He said pointing to your birthmark on your neck. It was shaped like a tiny heart. The doctors said you were "special". 

"So what does this mean?"

"You're my girlfriend. We were destined to be together." 

"Okay, since I'm your girlfriend, do you mind putting me down?" You said looking down at his arms that were holding you down.

"Ah, shit. Sorry" He said releasing you. "I'm not being such a good boyfriend right now" 

"No no, it's okay...uhm, what's your name?"

"Oh I'm so sorry. I know your name but you don't know mine..." He said to you

"My name is Kim Hongjoong."
