Tonight and Tomorrow

Glaiza's POV:

Katatapos ko lang maligo at magbihis, currently brushing my teeth, Rhian is in my room, syempre na-fluster nanaman nya ako when she went out undressed at naka-tapis lang. Lord ano ba tong girlfriend ko? Mapang-akit naman masyado. 😭

These are my thoughts tonight at syempre ang posibilidad na mapulmonya ako dahil mag-aircon nanaman siya. She's like Elsa the ice queen. She couldn't stand the humid and hot temperatures of the Philippines, in fact working for her, I have always seen her with an ice pack down her neck. Mabilis din itong mamula whenever we worked in her backyard, you would see her getting red and sweaty ng ganun kadali, kaya she has her steps calculated and sure. She doesn't like going over stuff again. Buti na lang at magaling ang team ko kumuha ng instructions. They learned so much about handling plants from Rhian.

Nang matapos na ako mag-sipilyo, nag-mumog na ako at lumabas na sa banyo. I found Rhian seated at the edge of the bed, naka-tapat sa electric fan ang buhok nito. Napangiti na lang ako sa ganda nya kahit hindi pa tuyo ang buhok nya at para siyang si Sadako. Napatawa ako ng mahina causing her to look back at me.

"Tatawa-tawa ka dyan love?" She said to me.

"Wala, ganda mo pa din lab, kahit para kang si Sadako." I said chuckling at her.

Maya-maya isang malaking unan ang bumulaga sa mukha ko. My goodness, sarap talaga inisin ni lablab ko. 🤣😂🤭

"Nainis ka nanaman lablab." I said laughing at her.

"Ikaw kasi eh. So kamuka ko pala si Sadako ah?" She said pouting at me.

"Yes, you look a little like her kanina, pero mas maganda pa din ang lablab ko." I said laughing.

"Uggghhh! Bolera ka talaga." She said seemingly exasperated at me.

Umayos na ito ng upo sa kama ko, I got into my bed and hugged her from the back.

"Wag ka na magtampo lab, you look beautiful unlike Sadako. Ikaw normal si Sadako may issue." I said to her chuckling.

"Hmmphh! Ewan ko sayo." She said to me.

"Tara na lab, matulog na tayo." I said to her.

"Ikaw na lang matulog dyan." She said tearfully at me.

Maya-maya lang umiiyak na ito.

"Lab? Wag ka nang umiyak." I said to her.

"Ikaw kasi eh, Sadako ah?! Sige matulog ka na, baka bangungutin ka pa kaka-yakap mo sakin." She said na may halong pagtatampo.

"Lab, I will have the sweetest dream because I am with you. I didn't mean to say that you are like Sadako, ang sabi ko lang parang. Dahil nga yung buhok mo kanina." I said to her as I wiped her tears away.

"Talaga? You didn't mean it?" She asked me.

"Yes lab, I didn't mean to hurt you with those words. Mukhang malapit ka nang magkaron, dahil ang bilis mo nang mainis sakin." I said to her.

"Oo nga, magkakaroon na ako bukas eh." She said to me.

"Sabi ko na eh." I said to her as I kissed her cheek.

"Paano kaya kung nag-sync ang regla natin, patay na tayo pareho. Topak ko plus ligalig mo, baka magbreak tayo nyan." She said to me as she wiped her tears.

"Shhhh! Wag mo isipin yun. Syempre pag nag-sync ang regla natin, I will be more understanding of you." I said to her.

"Promise?" She said to me.

"Yeah, I promise." I said to her.

I never once doubted that if ever man magsync ang mga regla namin, I always thought I'll be the one to give way. Rhian's menstrual cycle is every 4th of the month while I experience it mid of the month. Rhian had been at the receiving end of my menstrual outbursts, napaka-ligalig ko pag meron ako, I keep on laughing at small things, unlike Rhian who looks like a sick puppy. ☹️ I was brought out of my reverie because Rhian asked me a question.
