Zoya's POV:

I couldn't believe what had just happened. Never in my wildest dreams had I expected that we would meet Ibraheem and his friends at Rubab's engagement. Misha huffed loudly as she back down while Kamran and Fahad looked at us. Rubab looked like she was about to step off the stage to come to Misha's side but I warned her with my eyes not to do anything stupid. She needed to remember that this was her event. It would only cause more suspicion if the bride to be gets up like that. The engagement ceremony was about to start, she can't create any more drama than there already is.

Once, Rubab looked like she had settled down again, I turned towards Fahad and Kamran who were still standing there as if nothing had happened, Fahad looked positively shocked while Kamran had his poker face on that I hated so much. I pointed my finger accusingly at Kamran and narrowed my eyes. "This is all your fault! Why can't you both control your friend? Can't he understand that Misha didn't want to talk to him?"

Kamran gave me an ice cold stare that sent a chill down my spine before looking down at my finger that was pointing towards him. He raised his eyebrow and then frowned. Oh wow, so the stone can react too? Before I could even respond, he swiftly grabbed my wrist and looked at it closely.

"Hey!" I tried to pull my wrist away but he gripped it tightly while bringing it up, closer to his face. "Hath choro mera, paghal insaan. (Let go of my hand, you psycho.)" I whisper yelled and he gave me a deathly stare so I paused.

"This scar, why do you have it?" Kamran pointed to my wrist that had three parallel scar lines on it.

"What do you mean by why do I have it?" I looked at him confused while still trying to free my arm.

"How did you get this?" He sounded genuinely curious. He brought it so close to his face I could feel his breath on my wrist which felt tingly and weird.

"Why do you care?" I asked skeptical.

"Just answer me or I won't let go of you." He said dead serious as he flickered his intense gaze towards me.

"Bachpan ki chot hai. (It is from a childhood injury)" I replied honestly, still suspicious as to why he cared anyway but I had to play it safe since there had been enough drama for one night. I couldn't bring attention on me now.

"Anushay?" I felt him pull me towards him but I kept my stance and stayed where I was. I felt Misha look up at me in sheer surprise while Fahad who was in the recovery phase looked like he went back into shock again.

"Anushay? Who the heck is Anushay? I already told you. I am Zoya. ZO-YA. And let go of my arm already." He finally let go as I stumbled back but regained my balance.

"Yeah, you can never be Anushay, she is long gone." He looked like he was in pain but there was nothing I could do about this. Absolutely nothing that wouldn't at least get me in trouble again.

He gave me one last longing look before turning around and leaving along with Fahad who looked like he had a lot of questions to ask.

The moment he was gone, I collapsed besides Misha. Misha looked as confused, shook and disturbed as me.

"Just when you thought the day couldn't get any worse, this happens." I sighed as I put my head down on the table while Misha looked deep in thought.

"But how did he know that?" She finally said the words I was dreading.

"I have no idea." I replied honestly. I really didn't.

Meanwhile, Ibraheem's POV:

I stepped out in the cold breezy Islamabad air as I stared daggers at my phone. She had made a huge fucking mistake and she was going to pay for it now. I picked up my buzzing phone and put it to my ear.

"Hey Ibraheeeeem!"

"Lanti aurat! Aik aur dafah mujhe call ki tou men tujhe aur teray ghar walon ko dhund dhund kar marunga. Agar tumhari aur tumharay khandan ki laashein samundar men na mili tou mera naam bhi Ibraheem Narejo nahi. Dubara call karne ka sochna bhi maat. (You bloody woman! If you call me one more time, I am going to find you and your family and kill you all. If people don't find you and your family's corpses in the sea then my name isn't Ibraheem Narejo either! Don't even think of calling again.)" With that I hung up and exhaled loudly.

I sniffed my shirt and Misha was right, the smell of alcohol was strong. I marched towards my car and took out the bottle that Fahad had handed me. What did he give me anyway? Rum? Fucking Rum? Suddenly Misha's words along with her disappointed face flashed in my head.

Without another thought, I threw the bottle against the wall and watched it break into small pieces. I then lit up a cigarette, smoked a few puffs before walking back into the engagement.

Misha's POV:

He was staring. He was definitely staring. I could feel him burning holes on the side of my face ever since he walked back into the engagement. Fortunately, he didn't start another scene and silently watched as Zohaib and Rubab exchanged rings.

Ibraheem looked like he wanted to say something but luckily, Zohaib's mother had stopped him for good. I don't know what power she had over him and frankly, I didn't care as long as he stayed away from me. I had expected him to stare when he returned so I was mentally prepared for it but Zoya looked like a mess and I don't really blame her.

Kamran had been staring at her ever since he had walked away from us to the other side. If Ibraheem's stare could burn a hole through me, Kamran's stare looked like it was going to devour Zoya completely. He had this intensity that was scaring Zoya.

"Can that douchebag stop staring at me? He looks like he is going to slaughter me or something. Damn it, this hall feels suffocating despite being spacious." I heard Zoya whisper while I could feel her grip on my hand increase with every minute. She looked like she just wanted to leave and I didn't blame her. I wanted to leave even more than her given Ibraheem's stare meanwhile Rubab looked like she just wanted to get off the stage and ask what the hell was even happening around here anyway. She looked mortified after seeing Ibraheem and the gang but there was something else as well, she looked like she had seen a ghost or something.

In a nutshell, all of us were positively freaked out.

I am super sleep deprived, I had a rough week. My finals are starting next week so I don't know if I can update anytime soon but here is a fun update I have been wanting to do for a while.

Also, I will create a separate book for each of the character couples but I still want to add some cute parts here and there about them so yeah.
