Misha's POV:

The soft hues of dusk painted the room, casting a tranquil glow over the space we'd crafted together. The familiar scent of Ibraheem's cologne mingled with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, enveloped us in a sense of serenity. I couldn't help but smile as I watched Ibraheem, his eyes bright with anticipation as we prepared for this new chapter in our lives.

He turned to me, his warm gaze melting any worries that lingered in my mind. "I've been counting down the moments until you officially move in with me."

The room, with its carefully curated decor and calming ambiance, had been my safe space. Yet, it was merely a prelude to the life we would be able to embark upon together once my family approved as well.

But amidst this joy, a wave of anxiety surged within me. Thoughts of my family, their disapproval lingering like a shadow, dampened my spirits. Ibraheem sensed the shift in my demeanor and stepped closer, enfolding me in his reassuring embrace.

"Misha, I know it's not easy," he murmured, his voice was soothing for my troubled soul. "But we'll figure this out together. You're not alone in this journey. You never were. I will always be by your side. Now and always."

With each whispered assurance, the knots in my stomach loosened, and a sense of calm washed over me. He made me feel safe, cherished, and understood.

As we stood there, I couldn't help but feel grateful for this man who stood by me through thick and thin. We had our ups and downs but his belief in our love gave me strength.

"I just worry about their reaction," I confessed softly, my voice tinged with apprehension.

Ibraheem brushed a gentle kiss against my forehead, his touch tender. "They'll come around, Misha. Love has its way of softening even the hardest hearts."

His words wrapped around me like a warm blanket, filling me with a renewed sense of hope. I gazed into his eyes, finding peace.

With a deep breath, I gathered my resolve. As I took his hand, a surge of determination coursed through me. Whatever challenges lay ahead, I knew I was ready to face them, hand in hand with Ibraheem. Our love was our strength, and together, we would create our own happily ever after.

"Jaldi se rukhsat hokar mere pas ajao. Zulm hai yeh. (Hurry up and move in with me. This is torture.)" Ibraheem hugged me tightly as he said that. It made me laugh a little at how raw and honest he was.

"I love you, Ibraheem." I answered. That was the only thing that came to my mind. Honestly, the only thing. I really loved this man.

"I love you, Misha. With all of me."

"Likewise, Ibraheem." I gave him a hug before stepping away. Once, the two of us were ready, we said our goodbyes to uncle, auntie and left Ibraheem's villa.

"Are you nervous?" Ibraheem was looking at my leg that was moving at the speed of lightening. It was something I did when I was anxious. His hand squeezed my shaking thigh, calming it down. "Don't worry. It will be alright. Your beloved man will handle it."

I returned his smile as the two of us left for Lahore on his private jet. Kamran and Fahad accompanying us. He was right, everything will be alright. He will find a way.

Little did any of us know of the hell that awaited us all back home. It was just the beginning of a very dark chapter of our life.
