It took a month for Phoenix to settle down in Bangkok. Brissa and Boone helped him a lot and spoiled him too. They got him his own place and the car even though he told them he is fine in staying at the Vongviphan Manor and using one of the cars there.
"Oh, hush now child! It would be very inappropriate for the Vongviphan heir to be using a second-hand car and staying at the old house. You should be glad your papa was able to convince me to downgrade the house" Brissa scoffed.

"Geez, Oma. Isn't it too much? Uhm I'm not even ---" Phoenix started.
"You try completing that sentence and I'll make sure both your fathers hear a handful" Brissa cut him off.
Phoenix gaped and was currently at a loss for words. The Vongviphan side of the family has been so accepting of him. His papa doted on him since he joined the family, and he is thankful that they treat him like their own.
"Nix, you are a Vongviphan through and through, whether you like it or not. The minute you decided to follow Beam's footsteps in the medical field, you are already it. None of your siblings is interested in this side of the business and even if they are, we already chose you. So, you better learn to live with it" Boone told him as he wrapped his arm around his favorite grandson's shoulders.
"Thank you, Opa. But I intended to stay there at the manor with you guys. I'll be lonely here on my own" Phoenix expressed.
"You spoiled little prince. Of course, you can always come there anytime. We just want you to have a place of your own sweetie" Brissa said as she gently tapped Phoenix's cheek.
"It's only befitting of a future successful cardiothoracic surgeon to have these. We are so proud to have you in the family Phoenix. This is one of the least we could do to show how much we love you" Boone added.
"We know you are hurting right now. All we ask is to never close off from us. We are here for you, and you can tell us anything. We will always listen" Brissa told him as he was enveloped in a hug.
