Forth and Beam decided to migrate back to Thailand. They agreed to have Bryce and Flare flew into Bangkok earlier than the rest of their family. They needed to do so in order to enroll themselves in school. They needed to stay behind to settle business-related matters, same for Jagger and his small family.
Since Forth and Beam needed to stay behind, the boys were placed under the Vongviphan's care. It took a lot of persuading for Brissa and Boone to agree in having Bryce stay in a dorm near the university rather than their house since it is a bit far. They initially suggested for him to stay with Phoenix and Marius, but they know how tiring it gets when you are a doctor. They have Boone and Beam as an example and Bryce wouldn't want to impose on his brother.
Since Flare will be staying with their Oma and Opa at the Vongviphan mansion, Bryce was given a condo unit of his grandparents' choice. They also insisted on getting him a car, to which he vehemently declined. Unsuccessfully. He opted to have a motorcycle than a car but according to Boone, a respectable engineer has both like their dad. Hence, he had both, to his chagrin.
Amongst the four Vongviphan-Jamornhum children, Bryce is the most simple but aloof one. He hates the unwanted attention brought by their surname. He rarely uses the power of their name, which is usually expected by those who attempt to get close to him. He isn't materialistic too so, being showered by his grandparents with luxurious things is something that's overwhelming for him.

It was Bryce Jamornhum's first day in college. He had enrolled at the Faculty of Engineering at Kongthanin Integrated University, the same one where his papa Beam initially studied and where his eldest brother, Phoenix graduated.
While he was walking towards the university, he was lost in his thoughts about his room. His Oma insisted that it is exactly what he needs for his own space. It was decorated by one of their company's top designers. The room was in white with just hints of black and green. There was a wall divider between the bedroom and the living/dining room. His kitchen was also spacious, and he has his own balcony.
If only Phoenix didn't warn him about their grandparents' acts of love, he would definitely decline everything. 'At least it was just a room, unlike Phoenix's house.'
