Lay down and tell me what's on your mind, what exactly did he do to make you cry this time...

IT WAS ONLY A WEEK since Aaliyah returned to the house and so far things have been pretty well for the most part. She was happy to be back and happy to be back in her room and around the dogs again. It was even cool between her and DeVante although neither had said much to each other. They stayed around different parts of the house. Him in the basement studio and she and her room or sometimes in the backyard where she played and watched the dogs play. On a few occasions, they have crashed into each other paths accidentally without saying much as sorry or excuse me.

It was pretty awkward because they lived together and the only convo the two had sparked up so far was mostly about her album and nothing else. Neither didn't like it much and tried various times to talk but for some strange reason, they backed out of every opportunity presented. When DeVante was on his way to the kitchen the other day to grab a drink he saw her outside playing with the dogs and it was then he almost pushed himself to go out there and talk to her but the minute he touched the doorknob he chickened and backed out thinking about what Stephan advised him to do which was give her space for a little while.

If she wanted to talk she would do so on her own time and knew where he would be when that day occurred. Hell, he was lucky enough that she wanted to be here with him and be under the same roof that he declared was enough for now.

And now here she was in the middle of the night looking up at the ceiling as sweat beads filled her forehead from the heat rising in her room. It was hot and even the breeze from the window didn't do the heat in here any justice. She kicked over the layers of covers and sheets as Bullet tossed and turned at the edge of the bed where she had allowed him to sleep. He was a little baby that happily followed her around the house and refused to be without her even when night time came about and the other dogs went out for the night. Instead, he scratched at her door until she opened up for him and ran straight to a spot on the bed.
