This morning I wake up at eight, as promised today I'm going to show Alena around the school. I'm sure she was given a small tour when she first arrived, but having a student show her around will provide her with so much more information.

Dressed in some black ripped jeans and a casual grey T-shirt, I grab the keys to my bike, my bag, and my sunglasses and head out the front door.

I arrive at school with five minutes to spare and park my bike in its usual spot. I kick the stand down and step off removing my helmet and place it on the bike, then pull my packet of cigarettes from my pocket and take one from the packet; holding it between my lips as I light it.

"You smoke?" Alena questions startling me

"Si." I nod as I let out a puff of smoke in the opposite direction to her before speaking again "Do you?"

"No." She shakes her head "but I don't mind being around it, most of the men in my family do."

Taking another long drag I nod my head. "You're early."

"Only a few minutes." She shrugs

"I didn't think you would be after your night out drinking" I grin as I take another drag before throwing the cigarette to the ground and put it out under my foot

"Oh because I was the only one out drinking?" she fires back with a cheeky smile

"Oh, she's fiery this morning" I grin at her

"Are you ready for this tour or what?" She places her hand on her hips 

"Ready" I nod

We make our way to the front of the building and I point out things like the office, the library, study rooms and so on. Of course, she already knows where the cafe is from yesterday and where we sit for lunch as we also showed her that yesterday, so I proceed to the back of the school where I show her the gym, the football field, and extra classrooms as well as our evacuation points

After our tour, we make our way back to the front of the school near the Cafe. Checking my watch I realize it's only nine-thirty, we have half an hour before Alena starts class

"Would you like to get some breakfast?"

"I would love to, I'm starving" she replies with a smile

We make our way into the Cafe, on the way in a few acquaintances say hello, a few of the girls waving. I smile back to be polite and say my hellos while leading Alena to my usual table. Once we reach I pull her chair out for her and she sits down.

"Thank-you." She smiles as she sits down on the seat and I push it in for her. "You sure know a lot of people." She comments as I take the seat across from her

"Acquaintances mainly, Ric is my only friends as such."

"Only Ric?" she raises a brow

"As well as you and Bex now"

"Phew we make the cool kid list." she wipes pretend sweat from her forehead with a soft giggle

I laugh with her, as her eyes fall to the table, before looking back to mine as she gives me a soft smile "Your eyes." I say out loud before even realizing."

"My eyes?" She questions looking at me strangely

"They're green, I just noticed."

"They are today." She smiles "Sometimes they go so dark they look brown like my Mums, but other days, like today they go really light like my great grandad's and aunts."

I stare at her for a moment too long before pulling my attention back to the room. "Should we order some breakfast before we run out of time?" I stand up from the table
