I wake to the sound of running water, a moment later it stops and I turn my attention to the bathroom door when a very naked Dom makes his way back into the room. I look away quickly and bite down on my bottom lip. 

"Morning." I almost whisper

"Morning" He smirks as he reaches for his briefs and pulls them on "Don't tell me you're going to get shy on me now, it's not like you haven't seen it before or last night for that matter" he winks 

Last night, Dom and I slept together and as much as I want to tell myself it was just goodbye sex it felt like so much more than that, well to me it did anyway, but that's what scares me the most about Dom and me, I feel like maybe I've always been more into him then he is me. 

"You alright?" he questions and sits down on the bed next to me, his perfect, tanned body staring me right in the face

"Yeah, I'm fine" I sit up so I'm now in line with his face "I uh, I just wasn't expecting you to still be here this morning."

"What like you're some kind of one-night stand?" he laughs softly "Alena I meant what I said last night, I love you and if you stay, I promise I'll make it up to you." 

"Dom" I sigh softly looking down 

"What?" he questions as he places his hand under my chin, making me look at him "What is it? What's on your mind." 

"We'll never be able to make this work, I have to go home and take over the Cobras and you have to stay here and take over for your father If I leave now maybe it'll make it easier on us." 

"Is that how you really feel? That it's not worth even trying?"

"Dom, come on of course I want to try, but I just- I-"

"You don't see the point." he nods his head and moves back from me standing up "Let's get to school and hand in these papers of yours, I'll drive you."

We arrive at school and I step off the back of Dom's bike for what will be the last time. Riccardo and Bex are waiting for Dom in the usual spot and they smile softly in our direction and wave.

We make our way over to them, leaving the helmets on the bike "Hey." I greet once I've reached them 

"Hey." Bex smiles "So this is good, you two arriving together, are you back on?" she raises a brow 

"Uh, we made up." I nod and purse my lips together

"But?" Riccardo questions 

"She's still leaving," Dom says sadly 

"Alena" Bex says sadly 

"Don't do that, it's not because of you guys I'm glad everything is good with us now but this just isn't the place for me, I need to go home and be with my family." 

Driiiiiiiiiiiiing the bell rings loudly 

"Will you come back and visit?" Bex asks 

"Of course I will, come on, bring it in." I open my arms to her

Bex pulls me close and I hold her for a moment, my eyes closing for a moment as I try to hold back my tears. As much as Bex and Dom, hell even Riccardo hurt me with their actions, I still love them all very much and wish them nothing but the best, especially Riccardo and Bex, I hope they have a long and happy relationship, and honestly, I hope Dom finds someone too. 

I pull back from the embrace and smile softly "I'll see you soon."

"See you soon." Bex nods and wipes her tear quickly.
