Chapter 10

[a/n: I will shortly be introducing the Van Saint cousins in this chapter instead of just naming them 'lalakeng pinsan ni Blu'. You don't need to remember their names though.]

'The Van Saints'

The Van Saints were known to hold extravagant parties. Sometimes they held their parties with a reason and a purpose but sometimes, they just do it to show off their god-like genes, mostly, to show off Dimitri Blu Van Saint. The Van Saints are a powerhouse and Blu is considered to be their ace.

He has just been laying low all this time but he couldn't escape his destined position.

To be shown off like he was a piece of art.

"Imagine if Kuya Drake was still alive. We'd have two art pieces to sell." Natatawang sabi ng isa sa mga pinsan ni Blu. Blu just looked at him and nudged him off jokingly. Blu was a bit uncomfortable with the suit that he was wearing.

But mostly, he was uncomfortable with the party.

The Van Saint cousins were in the lounge, hanging out and not wanting to mix in with the party.

"Bakit ba si Dimitri palaging nauuna? Hindi ba pwedeng ako nalang muna ang ibenta?" Tanong ng isang nakababatang pinsan ni Blu na lalake. Mahinang natawa ang mga pinsan niya rito at ginulo lang ni Blu ang buhok niya.

"That's Kuya Dimitri for you, Damien." Sabi ni Blu dun sa nakababatang pinsan niya. Damien is blonde,, nine years old and had always considered himself as an adult. "Bakit po ba? Hindi ka naman tinatawang na Kuya nung bata niyo sa team ah." Giit nito at saglit na natigilan si Blu nung sumagi sa isip niya si Audin.

"Oh, he's not a kid." Natatawang sabi ni Blu kaya ngumuso nalang si Damien.

"And Dimitri's not being sold, he's already bought." Sagot ng isang lalaking pinsan ni Blu. His name is Deval, the cheekiest one whose fangs are shown whenever he smiles. "Ha? Binili na siya? Ni Kharis, right?" Tanong naman ng isa na itim ang kulay ng buhok ang mapupula ang pisngi. His name is Dash.

"Nope, that's not what I was referring to. The other one, bro. The other one." Natatawang sabi ni Deval habang nakatingin lang si Blu sa kanila. "Oh, the other one?" Dash said and the others just looked at them.

"How does it feel, Dimitri?" Deval cheekily asked him habang tinaas-baba pa nito ang mga kilay nito. Blu just raised one of his brows. "Feel what?" Tanong niya sa mga pinsan niya.

"You know.. your first kiss." Deval stated and Damien choked on his ice cream at tumingin kaagad kay Blu na agad na namumula ang pisngi at nag-iwas ng tingin sa mga pinsan niya.

Damien was about to shout it out but Dorothy, one of their female cousins, age seventeen, covered his mouth.

"H-How.. how did you know about that?" Natatarantang tanong ni Blu sa mga pinsan niya na nakatinging mapanukso sa kanya. Deval looked at Dalton, their most silent cousin who ears specs and smiled. Tumingin naman si Blu kay Dalton na naglalaro lang sa cellphone niya.

"Dalton.." Mahinang tawag ni Blu sa kanya.

"Sorry if I keep reading your mind." Walang ganang sabi nito habang naglalaro parin. Tumingin na si Blu kina Deval at Dash na nakangiti lang sa kanya. "So, how does it feel?" Panunukso nito.
