I had lunch with Juan, who was an advertisement developer. Trisha wanted both of us to take classes. Juan's parents were from Mexico, legal migrants, and he spoke fluent Spanish besides English. In the month I'd been her he'd taught me how to say what my name was in Spanish.

After lunch I sat down with Courtney and Trisha and worked on the advertisement. It was an advertisement geared towards women regarding some alcohol.

I didn't meet Greene, and I made it home without problems. No one followed me, and I made it home safe.

I locked the door and went to the bathroom.

I studied my reflection and pulled down the neck of my shirt. My throat was still blue but it wasn't nearly as bad as in the weekend. Some places it was yellow bruises. I hoped it would be gone by Friday, or otherwise I hoped Alexander wouldn't mind me covering it.

Why even pretend to be his flirt when there, so definitely, wasn't anything between us? Yes, I would gladly admit he was handsome. But that was it.

I pulled the shirt free from my pants and went to cook dinner. After dinner, salad and pasta, I changed into pajamas and found the outfit for the following day.
