They were out of options.
They had visited four libraries in total and apparently only one was left from the lot of Jacksonville. To make it worse, when Tomi pulled up the library's site on her phone, it indicated that it was closed.
Yet, Edward refused to stop the car, and Tomi refused to give into the fact that Bella might have just...
She couldn't even think about it.
The car ran up a small hill and only then did Tomi notice the figure wandering the streets, looking heavy on its own feet. It didn't take a lot to recognize Bella, the thin shape and the puffy brown hair told enough.
"Stop the car! Stop the car!" Tomi yelled, pushing the door of the car open and jumping out before he had even stopped completely.
She ran towards Bella who looked awfully confused and dazed, and clasped two strong hands on her shoulders.
