*Anthony POV*

"Instead of moping like a little bitch, you should be hitting back to back rebounds" My friend Nico said, punching me in the arm. "I mean look at all these fine ass women in here!"

"Don't fucking touch me."

"Aww look at the baby pouting." My other friend Colton said, making a crying face.

It had been a couple months since we broke up, and I was still not over Vae but damn she was the only woman I had ever loved deeply, I didn't even love my ex-fiance this deeply. Tonight was the first night I'd been out with my friends since the breakup.

"I'm not fucking pouting, and I don't want any of these women; I want one woman."

"GAAYY!"

I rolled my eyes and turned my attention back to everyone having fun in the club.

"Fine stay here, I'm gonna go find a bitch or two to smash..." Nico said standing up

"If you want my advice I would start by not referring to them as bitches..." he shook his head and walked away.

Colton scooted closer to me pouring some of the tequila into the shot glass in front of me. "Nico is such a dick head. Listen from the few times we met your girl she was a firecracker and way too much for me, but I could tell you liked her a whole hell of a lot. I really am sorry it ended and if she really is the one she'll find her way back to you bro. Cheers to true love."

I couldn't help but chuckle "Thanks man."

"Welp peep talk over, imma get out there!" He patted my back before leaving out our area.

Once he was gone I let out a deep sigh, I couldn't lie these last few months had been rough. Getting your heart ripped out of your chest was fucking awful. I couldn't help but think I should have just minded my business like Nevaeh had wanted, I had both my parents my whole life and they were happily married. I never felt what it was like for one of my parents to not want me and suddenly come back into my life, although it was probably good she got closure; it may have been better not to push her.

I even talked to my dad about it and he just told me to give her space and just like Colton he said if we were meant to be she would come back, but they didn't know Vae like me that woman could hold a grudge for the rest of her life. It took so much for me not to just show up at her door and convince her to take me back, but whenever I got my keys ready I would just remember how I poured out my heart to her and she basically spit all over it and that stopped me right in my tracks.

"EXCUSE ME!" I shook my head looking at a girl in a bodycon dress standing in front of me.

"Sorry, I called you a few times and you didn't answer." She smirked "May I?" I shrugged and she quickly took a seat next to me.

"My name is Naomi, I saw you while I was dancing with a group of friends and decided why not come over here and introduce myself. Sooo..."

I sighed "Anthony"

"Anthony, nice name. What's an attractive man like you doing sitting here all alone?"

I sighed again "I'm here with my friends..." I picked up my beer swirling it around.

"Oh cool so am I!

"Yeah you said that."

"Oh" she looked at me genuinely surprised "I didn't know you were listening" She giggled, but stopped when she realized I wasn't falling for it. Now it was her turn to sigh.

She turned to me so our knees were touching "Look. I didn't really want to come over here. With this info I turned to look at her.

"Why did you?"
