(Jimin's POV)
"PARK. JIMIN."
Ugh...
My head...
"PARK JIMIN!"
Jimin inhales a sharp breath and jumps when he hears his mother's screechy voice echo through the halls of the huge house, her expensive high heels clacking against the marbled floors.
"What is this?! What are you doing?! Why is our house trashed again?!"
Oh shit-
"Uh..."
Sitting up amongst all the garbage Jimin rubs his head and shoves the broom laying on him off his body as he looks up at his mother, his mood immediately souring.
"I Uh...I was cleaning and Uh...fell asleep."
"Honestly Jimin I leave for two days and this is what I come home to?! What is wrong with you?!"
"I said I was in the middle of cleaning it."
Jimin sends his mother a scowl and stands up while ruffling his hair and looking in the mirror, a small smudge of red lipstick still smeared on his cheek.
Mmm...that girl...
I wonder where she went....what was her name again?
"Park Jimin I am speaking to you!"
Jimin gasps when his mother smacks the back of his head and grips his chin tightly to regain his attention, her eyes violently boring into his.
"I don't know what has gotten into you but I am tired of this behavior. I do not slave away at work all day for you to waste away my money on alcohol and hookers!"
"Don't you mean dad's money?"
Jimin narrows his eyes and hears the small gasp of shock escaping her lips as she releases his chin roughly, her body practically buzzing in irritation.
"Alright then young man. You have very obviously lost your sense of reality and I need to remind you what it means to be a grown up."
Yeah yeah take my phone or some stupid shit.
"Clean this up. NOW."
"That's what I was doing, duh. Don't you see the broom?"
A wave of satisfaction crashes through Jimin's body when he watched his mother's lips purse into a tight thin line, her manicured hands balling into fists.
"I have tried. I have tried all of these years to make everything liveable for you Jimin but it's obvious that I have given you too much."
"So what? You gonna take my phone again?"
Leaning up against the wall with his arms crossed in dripping arrogance Jimin watches his mother look at him with wide eyes full of disbelief, a small sigh escaping into the room.
"You think you'll become a lawyer like this? Do you think you'll keep the family tradition going?!"
"It isn't your tradition, it's dad's-"
SMACK
Jimin's eyes widen when he feels the sting of his mother's hand coming across his cheek as she breathes through gritted teeth and looks at him with infuriation, her voice still maintaining its usual tone despite her seething anger.
"That is it. I have had enough of this. As of today, you are going to get a taste of what it's like to be humbled. You are going to move into the apartment across town where you can live BY YOURSELF and learn what it means to earn a living."
"Wait, what now?"
"As your mother, I will pay the rent of the apartment but everything else is up to you. I'm tired of this behavior Jimin and I am tired of having to constantly clean up after you. Now...get this clean and get to school."
"Wait I have to-"
"I SAID CLEAN THIS UP AND GO TO SCHOOL."
Jimin sucks in a breath and watches in panic as his mother shoves some of the many red cups to the side and slams the door of her study so the loud boom cracks and echos through the living room.
Wait...
I have to live in a tiny apartment...by myself...and earn money?
How do you do that?!
Is she making me get a job?!
Ha.
As if she would ever follow through with something like this, she's threatened everything under the sun, she would never do this to me.
We'll see if she actually follows through.
.................................
Ah....
Her lips...
They were so smooth...
"Hello? Jimin Hyung?"
I wonder where she goes to school at....
Would she come to another party?...
"Jimin Hyung?"
Staring down at the small rouge lipstick stain on his thumb Jimin swallows hard and feels his heart begin beating heavily in his chest recalling her shy grin when he swept his finger against her lip, his breath now warm coming out of his nose.
Her lips were as soft as her dress...that silk dress...
"Hyung?! Hello?!"
Man...She was with her friend...the one in the weird dress...she was so...so...
"Hyung!!"
"Ow!"
Jimin tears his gaze away from his thumb and looks over at his best friend who pinched the sensitive skin on the back of his arm, his ears turning red the second he snaps back to reality.
"What even? Why were you staring at your finger?"
Gazing around the lunch room Jimin ignores the stares coming from the girls at every table as he shrugs his shoulders and pushes his lunch away, his heartbeat making his stomach flip.
"I Uh...There was this girl at my party...the girl wearing that red dress..."
"Really? Oh yeah I saw her coming out of your room...you don't take girls to your room ever so I was honestly shocked."
"Eh? Oh...it was her first time so I don't know."
"Hyung you didn't even have YOUR first time in your bedroom. Did you get her number?"
"Uh no. She left before I could say anything...she all of a sudden got up and left."
"Do you think she had a boyfriend or something?"
"She said she didn't have one and like I said, it was her first time. She was completely inexperienced."
Yet...damn.
"Wow Hyung, you sound star struck."
"What? Ew no way. Shut up."
"Oh come on you took her up into your room! There has to be something about her that caught your attention."
"Uh, yeah. She was wearing that dress."
"You're disgusting."
That dress...what a tantalizing beauty...like a ghost in the night....
I wonder who she was...
What was her name again?
(A/N): 🤦🏼♀️
