Jay's POV

I'm attempting to put my jacket on one armed when Ruzak walks in. " Hey, you wanna hand? " Ruzak asks finding my difficultly amusing. " Please! " I say way to happy for Ruzaks help. " There you go. " Ruzak says. " Thanks bud, good to go? " I ask eagerly. " Yep come on. "

We get in the car and drive off back to the distric. " Have you heard from Hailey? " I ask having not heard from her since she left the hospital until I called. " Ye, she not tell you? " Ruzak laughs. " Tell me what? " I ask super confused. " Dhalia had a MAJOR melt down. Not even Antonio could calm her, we had to call Hailey. " Adam explains putting an emphasis on ' major '. " God. Is she okay now? " I ask with concern. " Ye hailey managed to settle her after a few minutes. That girl has magic powers I'm telling you! " Ruzak laughs but impressed impressed with hailey. " Yeh, shes amazing! " I say non chalantley. Ruzak looks over and grins before focusing back on the road.

A while later we arrive back at the district as we walk in someone yells " Detective chuckles one arm! " across the room and I instantly know its platt. " Hey atleast I wasnt shot in the upper leg. " I joke back knowing she cant reply without admitting it was true. Ruzak gives a confused look whilst keeping the cage door open, I sake my head hinting he doesn't want to know.

Haileys POV

Dhalias been calm now for a good 15 minutes and has gone to help Kim rip up old pieces of paper. Luckily today there was no new case so we were just sorting through cases and paperwork.
All of a sudden Al, Voight and Kevin start cheering causing me to jump out my skin. I look up and Halstead along side Ruzak have just walked up the stairs. " Hey Jay! " I smile. " Hey Hailey! " Jay replies completely ignoring everyone else. He comes over to give me a one armed hug when Dhalia comes running into the room. " JAY, JAY! " She screams running towards Jay. " Hey Dhalia. " Jay chuckles and Dhalias excitement. " Hi Halstead. " kim smiles walking in just behind Dhaia. " Hey kim. "

Jay's POV

Once everyone's got there ' welcome backs ' out the way Hanks asks how long I'm stuck like his for. " 3 weeks atleast, but no jumping fences or shooting for another 2 weeks after that. " I reply with my good arm wrapped around haileys shoulders. " Your on phone duty then, and dont do what Erin did! " Voight says giving a ' dont even dare ' look. Everyone laughs thinking back to the week Lindsay doubled the amount of grey hairs Platt had by diverting all the calls to her. " What did lindsay do? " Hailey asks confused " She was on desk duty for a week after hurting her ankle. She diverted ignored or diverted every call to Platt. She got away with it until the last day, when Platt came marching up the stairs fuming with her. " Antionio explains laughing hardly. " Platt mad with erin? Never thought I'd hear it! " Hailey laughs sarcastically.
