Haileys POV

I walk downstairs and stare and Dhalia giggling and laughing at whatever Platt is telling her. " What rubbish are you filling my daughters head up with? " I ask laughing. " Mommy, Platt said you got stuck between bars on a cell trying to get to a bad guy and the firemen had to cut you out! " Dhalia says in hysterics. " did she now? " I smile looking at Platt. " She asked if you've ever got into trouble before whilst at work- I wasnt going to lie to the kid. " Platt smiles lifting Dhalia over the desk.
" Thanks Platt! " I smile handing putting Dhalia down. " anytime, shes a joy. " Platt says smiling at Dhalia. " come on then let's go see everyone. " I say to Dhalia as we head to the stairs.

" Hey Dhalia! " Antonio says giving Dhalia a high five. " Hey uncle Antonio." Dhalia says before running into the break room. I follower her in and see Jay asleep on the sofa. " Hey Dhalia be quite okay, Jay's asleep. " I whisper to Dhalia. " Okay. " Dahlia whispers getting her colouring stuff out of a draw near the fridge. " Mommy look! " Dhalia says whilst I'm making a juice for her. " That's awesome Dhalia! " I say enthusiastically putting her juice down next to her. " I have to go to back out into the officer area. " I say to Dhalia walking out the room.

" What are we doing with my dad then? " I ask Voight " We have evidence so I called state vill to pick him up in half an hour. He will stay there till court on Thursday and after that if hes found guilty. " Voight explains. " Okay. " I say sitting down at my desk.

Where all talking and miding our business when a scream comes from being break room. " Mommy Jay! " Dhalia shouts running towards us. " it's okay, go sit down. " I say as i keep running to the break room. " Jay! " Ruzak shouts trying to wake Jay up. " Halstead wake up bro! "  Atwater says shaking Jay who's now crying in his sleep. " Guys hes having a flash back. Can you give me a minute? " I ask the guys who are crowded round Jay worried. " Ye sure. " Al says walking out, the rest following.

" Jay its Hailey your okay. Please wake up. " I say stroking his side. Jay jumps up and I go flying into the chairs. " Shit hailey! I'm so sorry! " Jay apologises red eyed. " Its okay Jay, it wasnt your fault. " I reply picking myself up off the floor. " It was my fault, I pushed you over. " Jay says embarrassed and upset at the fact he sent me flying. " Stop apologising Jay " I say giving a reasurred smile. We finish tidying up and walk back to join the group.

Jay's POV

I walk out the break room with Hailey, still feeling terrible about hurting her and embarrassed the whole team witnessed me screeming like a kid.
" Jay! " Dhalia shouts running over from sitting on Adam's lap. " Hi kiddo. " I smile giving her a reassuring hug. " Ruzak said you had a nightmare just like I did the other night. " Dhalia says standing on a chair. " Ye just like you the other night. I'm okay now though, the monsters are gone. " I say trying to not freak her out. " come on, I need your help sorting through some stuff. " I say taking Dhalias hand and taking her to the tech room.
