Haileys POV

I sit there for a while and just stare. It was completely out the blue, but I love Jay, hes the best Dad ever to Dhalia and my best friend it the world. Theres only really one thing to say." Yes, ofcourse I'll marry you Jay! " I cry over joyed and happy that I'm engaged to the man of my dreams. The whole restaurant starts clapping and cheering whislt Jay slips the ring onto my finger before jumping up and lifting me into a hug. " I love you so much Hails! " Jay says on the verge of tears " I love you so much to Jay! " I say wiping my tears and possibly smudged make up away."Congratulations both, your meal is on the house as a gift. " the waitress says coming to clear our table " Thankyou but it's really not necessary. " Jay smiles tying to pass his card over to waitress. " I cant accept it. " The waitress smiles walking off. " Why you looking at me like that? " Jay asks " Nothing. " I say, standing up so we can go.

General POV

Jay and Hailey are walking hand in hand down the street, deep in conversation when they hear a deathly scream coming from round the corner. " What the hell! " Jay says as they both jump straight into cop mode and run in the direction of the scream. They turn the corner to a woman lying on face down of the floor, legs bleeding badly. " Hailey call an ambulance! " Jay orders turning the lady over. " Erin..." Jay whispers rubbing her sturnem trying to wake her. Jay hadn't seen Erin in almost three years and last time he checked she was in New York. " Jay, Jay! " Hailey shouts knocking him out of his thoughts. " Ye? " " Does she have any ID on her? " Hailey asks completely oblivious to the woman being Erin. " Shes Erin Lindsay, 37. " Jay replies as Hailey passes the information onto the operator Erin starts to come round. " Its okay Erin, your safe now. " Jay reassures a semi- conscious Erin. " Jay? " Erin mumbles. " Yeh, it's me. Theres an ambulance on its way. " Hailey makes her way over to where Jay is sitting with Erin's head now resting on his lap. " Is that? " Hailey asks. Jay nodds staring straight into Haileys eyes.

Jay's POV

Hailey and I are pacing the hospitals waiting room still waiting for an update on Erin. " Hey, what the hells going on? " Voight asks coming into the waiting room carrying a sleeping Dhalia. " Its Erin. " I say blank faced. " Erin? I didnt know she was back. " Hank says confused. " Me either till before. " I reply confused. " What happened? " Hank asks, worry clear in his voice. " We..we dont know. We came out the restaurant and heard a scream so we ran to see and found her face down, bleeding badly from the legs. " Hailey explains as Dr Choi walks out into the waiting room. " I'm sorry, Erin lost alot of blood and had a sethered artery. There was nothing we could do. " Dr choi explains as I burst into tears alongside Hank. Hailey takes Dhalia off Hank and gives us some space to get our heads round it. Erin was gone...again...but this time for good.

Haileys POV

Nobody knows about Erin yet exept the three of us. Hank, Jay and I walk into the district to tell the rest of the team what happened last night. " Guys, um listen up! " I shout since I'm the least likely out the three of us to break down. The team falls silent and turn there attention to the three of us. " Hey, what's up? " Platt asks coming up the stairs. " No idea, Hailey was just about to explain. " Atwater says sitting down. " Last night, Jay and I found a woman laying down facing the ground. We got her to the hospital but she didnt make it. It was Erin. " I explain almost crying myself. We didnt know each other long, but we got on well when we were partners. The whole team sit down in shock, trying to process what they were just told. " But..but shes in New York! " Kim says trying to think of a way for it not to be Erin. " She wasnt, we don't know how long shes been here or why but its definitely her. " Jay speaks up, tears rolling down his face. The whole team break down, the tough, unbreakable team, even Platt broke. " We gotta find this prick! " Antonio snaps, slamming the table. Apparently him and Erin were really close, almost like brother and sister to each other. " Were not allowed to work this one. I think it's best, as we all might end up in jail if we get our hands on this guy. Look, go home everyone. Where not going to focus today even if we tried. " Hank says, using everything in his power not to end up in a soggy mess infornt of the whole team.

As much as Jay and I were over the moon about being engaged and getting married, now wasnt the time to bring it up.
