Jays POV

Hailey and I follow Voight into his office and sit down. " So how are we going to play this? " Voight asks. " What do you mean? " Hailey asks confused. " I cant keep you three apart. Your going to have to apologise Jay- just so we can get this sorted- I dont care if you mean it or not. " Voight says, I roll my eyes and shake my head. " Come on! " I snap throwing my head back. " Jay, your the cop here. Apologise as soon as he comes up. " Voight snaps. " Whatever " I exhale walking out the door.

As I sit down hailey gives me a death stare from across the room. " Dont give me that look Hailey. " I snap. " Dont talk to me like that Jay! " hailey shouts. " I'm sorry if my heart doesn't bleed like yours, but the way your dad was treating you and talking to you it was completely out of order! " I shout back.
" Jay you dont punch someone just becuase they piss you off! " Hailey shouts standing up, causing her chair to fall backwards. Before either of us can say anything else Platt walks up the stairs. " That's enough yous two, we can all hear you from downstairs. Hailey come with me. " Platt says fed up. Hailey makes her way towards the stairs, but not before giving me one last glare.

Haileys POV

I follow Platt down the stairs but she doesn't say what she wants me for- which is unusual. " Platt what's up? " I ask confused and worried. " Dhalias school head teacher is in there. " Platt says pointing at the small office. " Thanks Platt. " I smile walking into the office.

" Hi, I'm Hailey. " I say introducing myself. " Hi Hailey, I'm Mrs Snowdon, Dhalias headteacher, but call me Katie. " Mrs Snowdon says shaking my hand. " Is something wrong with Dhalia? " I ask worried about Dhalia. " No, no it's nothing to worry about and Dhalias just fine considering everything. It's just I need you to fill out this form. I don't usually visit parents but this is ,well, unusual. " katie smiles handing me a form. " ye it is. " I smile grabbing a pen. " I don't have anyone to put as emergency contacts. " I say looking at the question below were I fill my name and details. " Its okay, but it is strongly advised; especially for someone who has a job like yours. " Katie explains smiling. " I'll be back in a sec. I'll go and ask my partner and Trudy at the desk. " I say standing up and running out the door.

" Hey Platt, can I put you down as one of Dhalias emergency contacts please? " I ask, waving my hand to get Platts attention. " Hu? Ugh, ye sure okay. " Platt replies jumping out of a daydream. " what about Jay? " Platt asks before I can say thankyou. " It needs two, I'm going to ask Jay now. " I reply " Okay. " Platt smiles. " Thanks Sarg! " I grin, running up the stairs. " Uh Jay, I know I have no right to ask, but can I put you down as one of Dhalias emergency contacts? I hesitantly ask Jay. " Ye sure. " Jay says still frustrated. " Thanks. " I reply walking back down the stairs. " Oh look who it is! My darling daughter. " my dad says walking up the stairs between Antonio and Kim. " Shut up! " Antonio says hitting my dad over the head. I carry on completely ignoring him.

" Hey sorry about the wait. " I apologise to katie walking back into the room. " Its okay. Do you have anyone to put down then? " Katie asks handing the form back to me. " Yes. My partner Jay and Platt. " I reply already writing there names down. " Good, oh thankyou. " katie replies taking the filled out sheet off me. " I do need to meet them though, it's part of protocall. " Katie explains standing up. " Ye sure. Well you've already met Platt and Jay's upstairs; I'll take you to him. " I smile. " okay thankyou. Is Platt always that blunt? " Katie asks whilst were walking up the stairs. " Ye she is. Dont take it personally. " I laugh.

" Jay! " I call pointing, pointing my head towards the corridor leading to the locker room. " Two seconds, I'm just finishing this up. " Jay says waving at katie. " Sorry , it's not the most convenient place but it's the most private. " I smile to katie. " Its okay honestly, I understand the inconvenience. " katie says as we sit down.

Jay's POV

I walk into the locker room where I see Hailey sitting and talking to a well dressed woman." Hi, I'm Jay Halstead. " i say introducing myself to katie as I sit down. " Nice to meet you Jay. I'm mrs Snowdon, Dhalias headteacher. Please call me katie though. " Katie says shaking my hand.
" I just need to ask a couple of questions if that's alright? " Katie asks Jay who nodds. " Okay, so, how well do you know Dhalia? " katie asks. " Just as good as Hailey does. Shes a great kid. " I reply smiling at Hailey. " What do you mean, just as good as Hailey? " Katie asks " I've spent alot of time with Dhalia and Hailey over the last few days. I stayed at Haileys the first night Dhalia went to stay with her. " I reply choosing my words carefully. " Okay. Now do you and Dhalia get on? Katie asks " Really well, especially since shes realsiled I'm happy to dance around to frozen. " I laugh. " Seems like your really close. " Katie suggests laughing. " Alright then, I'll go and speak to Platt before I head off. Thankyou for your time. " Katie says standing up. Hailey and I smile as we all walk out the locker room.
