Jay's POV

Its 8am and my alarm goes off for work; I'm finally clear for active duty on today. All of a sudden my phone starts ringing- my eyes are still blurry so I cant see who's calling. " Halstead " I answer still half asleep. " Hey Jay, you want me to pick you up still? " Hailey asks, who's obviously been awake for a while. " Yes please if you dont mind. " I say getting up out of bed. " No problem, be there in in half an hour. " Hailey says haning up.
After I've got dressed, I grab an apple and head to the main entrance to meet hailey.

" JAY! " hailey shouts from inside her car. I smile and get in. " Hey " I smile " Hey, how are you? " Hailey asks driving off. " Ye I'm good,you?" I ask doing my seatbelt up." Great! " Hailey hailey replies focusing on the road. " Wheres Dhalia? " I question confused since we both drop her off at school on the way to work." At School. I dropped her off early, some breakfast party." Hailey explains whilst parking the car. " uh " I smile getting out the car.

Haileys POV

Jay and I walk into the district but go our separate ways. Jay goes straight upstairs and I walk over to Platt. " Morning Sarg. " I say with a big smile. " What do you want? " Platt asks not looking away from the computer. " Why would you think I want something? " I ask grinning. " Because your smiling and you never smile when you first walk in. " Platt explains now looking up to listen. " You caught me. Can you pick Dhalia up from school please? " I ask giving her puppy dog eyes. " Alright. Just because its Dhalia. " Platt says pointing her finger. " Thanks Sarg! " I shout running up the stairs.

I barely get up the stairs when the whole team come running down. " Robbery at 23rd and 1st. " Ruzak says running past me. I run back down the stairs and get into Antonio's car before he speeds off.
