Mia's P.O.V.:-

Weekends, the only time in the week when you Lounge in your bed or sofa while watching some series or movies while eating an ice cream and making plans for the night. But I was doing neither I had a bloody laptop on my lap while trying to complete the report, who Aiden oh so politely requested.

It was a friday night and that idiot had said to submit it tomorrow. I am bloody jealous of my friends while I am working they are out partying all because of that asshole.

It was 3 in the morning when I finished it, also I was quite lucky to just submit the reports as I wanted really some good sleep. Man I am really tired now.

The next morning after getting ready and eating the breakfast quickly I took the files to submit i drove myself to the office as he had informed me that he would be there.

I parked my car and when I entered I couldn't help but notice the eerie silence rather the noise of the employees which usually greeted once you enter.

I thought of asking the security first as the office was quite lonely and I would rather not walk up to his office only to not find him there. If he hasn't arrived yet I would wait for him here and as soon as he arrives I would hand him the files, ya good plan.

Man I was already feeling the fatigue creeping up I just hope I don't faint in front of him that would be embarrassing.

"Excuse me sir, Is Mr King arrived yet?" man these security guys could seriously scare someone with just one look.

"No and he is not going to come today he works from home at weekends " he told me stiffly but he had said that he was going to come today and I nodded at the guy as I didn't see a point in asking him.

Well I have to call him now don't I ugh. As I was head of the project I had the fortune of having his number. Note the sarcasm.

"Who's this" seriously no hello nothing, well what did I expect a hearty good morning as if.

"It is mia I wanted to ask when you are coming to the office I wanted to give you the file" I ask him.

"Who told you I am coming at office?" what the fuck he only-

"You said yesterday to me" I hope he remembers.

"I don't remember saying that and why would I honestly Miss Warren you might have not heard correctly" I can hear the mirth in his voice I am sure he had planned all this.

Oh how bad I want to hit him asshole.

"Okay so now where I am supposed to give you the file" I ask him trying to control my anger after learning his real intent.

"Meet me at my home I'll text you the address" then without another word he cut the call.

I swear if the phone had a feature of burning someone through the call I would have used it. I had woken so early and reached the office as he requested and he had to be an ass about it.

As of on cue my phone pinged making me aware of his text. I got into my car and drove for the second time. Bloody git.

He lived in quite beautiful area not in the sense of close to forest or something like that but the skyscrapers surrounding were had me in an awe.

Damn rich people. Cause I am sure the view from each house or rather penthouse would be spectacular.

I parked my car and entered where he lived the entrance was so grand itself I was wondering how the apartments would look, man I am jealous now.
