3rd Person POV

Percy and Luke ran yelling "WILL!WILL! WILL! HELP!" Will ran behind them through the bunker. People tried to stop them but they burst through tears in their eyes screaming, screaming at the world. Screaming at everything. Memories flashed before their eyes. Luke saw her dancing, smiling, laughing, and singing. She would sit and strum her guitar and sing with a voice like an angel. Singing to the kids. Percy saw similar things. He saw her laughing and smiling and overall being dumb. He saw her climb upon the roof to watch Zale chase Chaos. They ran harder and harder. Faster and faster. They slid down and shook them their was no breath and no pulse. Luke screamed out and time slowed. Percy glared and the grass went so dry it caught on fire. Will got Frank and Jason to pull them off and he started seeing what he could do. Luke struggled as did Percy. Then they both collapsed. They sobbed and sobbed. Will took Zale and Rebecca to the infirmary and started to see what he could do there. Luke went and grabbed her guitar and started to sing it was the song she had always sung him when he needed a little hope it was her song to keep him going. Back when he had just newly came back he was depressed, really depressed. Sure he had Zale but what about everything he'd done so she started singing this song. Now he would try and give himself some hope. So here he was singing Carry on my wayward son by Kansas. (Please look it up on YouTube and listen.)

Carry on my wayward son

There'll be peace when you are done

Lay your weary head to rest

Don't you cry no more

Ah

Once I rose above the noise and confusion

Just to get a glimpse beyond this illusion

I was soaring ever higher, but I flew too high

Though my eyes could see I still was a blind man

Though my mind could think I still was a mad man

I hear the voices when I'm dreaming,

I can hear them say

Carry on my wayward son,

There'll be peace when you are done

Lay your weary head to rest

Don't you cry no more

Masquerading as a man with a reason

My charade is the event of the season

And if I claim to be a wise man,

Well, it surely means that I don't know

On a stormy sea of moving emotion

Tossed about, I'm like a ship on the ocean

I set a course for winds of fortune,

But I hear the voices say

Carry on my wayward son

There'll be peace when you are done

Lay your weary head to rest

Don't you cry no more no!

Carry on,

You will always remember

Carry on,

Nothing equals the splendor

Now your life's no longer empty

Surely heaven waits for you

Carry on my wayward son

There'll be peace when you are done
