"We don't know why Sonic switched sides... I'm sure it had something to do with Eggman!" Tails was always sensitive to this topic. I looked at Knuckles... he could have done something...

"Shadow told me it was because of something one of us did to him... I want to know... I have to know if it's true. Sonic was sweet and kind. Now a he's... he's awful to people and-" I couldn't say it. I didn't want to admit that my Sonic was a villan.

"None of us would ever hurt Sonic on purpose! He's a liar!" Tails snapped.

"But if it was an accident?" I looked to Knuckles. He looked anxious with this topic, unfortunately we all were.

"Sonic would have understood if it was an accident," Knuckles spoke up, "He never gets mad at any of us for too long..."

"Shadow's a trickster. He probrably made Sonic turn with his powers," Sticks replied, "Now he's saying all this to mess with our heads!"

"Yeah... that sounds about right," I ended the topic before Tails became too emotional. It felt so weird. None of us would ever hurt Sonic... and yet... Shadow had said one of us had.

  Sonic... I don't understand... What happened to you?
