 The Engagement

SENHA'S POV

It's been a while since the incident and whenever I asked him who did
all that, he just pushed the topic saying some business rivals. But deep
down my heart says, it's not as simple as it looks.

I know there are times when he behaves like a jerk but he has this sweet and caring side that I wanted in my husband and then there are his looks which any girls die for. I felt lucky to have him all by myself.
Today is my engagement with Karan. I never in my wildest dreams
thought of marrying Karan, if someone would have said that I am going
to become his I would have laughed at their face which I certainly did,
when he proposed me for the first time.
But life is always unpredictable. I was getting ready for the engagement
when I got call from a unknown number
S - Hello,
U - Hello, princess.
S - Who is this?
U - Leave him or else........
S - Leave whom huh?
U - KARAN

S - No, never. Else what you scoundrel?

U - you will regret it princess.

S - you are a coward, if you are man enough say it on my face then we
will see who will regret and what.
U - You little bitch, don't forget you are a girl.
S - And don't you dare forget that he is a lion and I am his wife. Lay a finger on me and he will shred you in pieces.

I hung up on him before he can say a word.
Leaving him was never an option for me. I loved him way too much to leave him and one thing you should know about me, is that I can go to any extent just to protect my loved once and this person is provoking the devil in me.

I got ready and was looking breath takingly beautiful. I was wearing a peach colored modern embroidery designer gown paring with a diamond pendent set.

AUTHUR'S POV
The Engagement was held in Royal Palace of Mewad when he saw her
he was awe struck with the girl in front of him.
" Bhai, stop drooling at her . She won't like it as she did in your dream" his
brother Arav teased him.
"I have all the right to stare at her beauty" he said not bothered by his
brother's comment.

"Go, find yourself a girl and stop bothering me" he said eyes still glued to her.
When she reached him, he whispered in her ear "you look gorgeous"
she blushed at his comment.
"You look good too" she replied shyly.
"Only good, huh?" He asked in a teasing tone leaning closer.
"Uh...yeah? No I me.. mean you look handsome" she stuttered. He
smiled at her cuteness.
They exchange their rings mean while her eyes were searching for her
foe. After all she is also half Royal and royal never spare their foe for anything.
She meets all the guests and Karan proudly introduced her to all. She
was in relief that he didn't show up. Later on Karan took her to a garden
which is a private place
"Are you okay? You looked disturbed? he asked her in concern.
"Yeah! I am fine, Why did you asked that?"she said leaning on him for
some support. He wrapped his arm around her waist, she rested her
head on his chest to relax her inner turmoil.
"You were searching for something like a predator does for it prey" he
said
"Well don't get mad that I didn't tell you about this earlier, okay"

he nodded his head for her to continue" today I got a call from a unknown number saying to leave you" I said nervously.

Suddenly his grip on me tightened. He wasn't angry but I think he
knows who is the caller.
"And what did you said?" He asked calmly
"What else would I say? I refused to leave you and I don't fear him
because I am your tigress and I know you will shred him into pieces if he dare to lay a finger on me" she said grinning widely.
"You are surely my tigress" he said proud of his choice.
"What if he dare to hurt me?" He asked her curiously.
"I won't hesitate to chop him into pieces if he hurt you or anyone dear to
me" she said determined. He saw an unseen flame and anger in her
eyes. He know she could do anything to protect him and that's what he
fear the most 'to lose her'
"Don't worry he will not be able to lay a finger on us" he said caressing
her soft red cheeks. He leaned on to her when his sister Ruhi and her
finance Balwant interrupted their moment
" Did we interrupt something" Ruhi asked teasingly, Sneha blushed at
her comment and Karan shook his head on her sister's naughtiness.
He said boldly "yes, you did"
"Then bhai excuse us" she grabbed Sneha's hand and walked back to
the party.
After sometime the guest started leaving, when everyone left he
offered both the families a lift. Everyone boarded a separate car and he
took Sneha with him in his car.
She was too sleepy and tired to say or do anything.
"Sneha" he called out and She hummed in response
"Thank you, Thank you for accepting me and my love" he said
"I am glad that I got you" she said in a sleepy tone
"Are you sleepy?" He asked her. She just nodded her head
"Come" he expanded his arms for her. She happily shifted in her sleep
and put her head on his shoulder. She instantly fell asleep.
She looked so pure like an angel. By the time he reached her home it
was quite late and she was comfortably sleeping like a baby in his arms. He put his jacket on her. he parked his car in front of her house.

"Soon I won't have to leave your side not even for a second" he whispered to her.
He took her in bridal style to her room and placed softly on her comfy

looking bed. He kissed her on her forehead and went off to his palace
