VERMILLION

We de believe that this is because of Leo and Kel pero baka kasi sila ang naaapi, which is impossible naman. Is it done? Natalo ba nila?

"What the f-- Leo?!" Evie exlaimed at napatingin kami sa itaas. Napanganga na lang ako habang tinititigan siya. He wasn't smiling nor laughing. His eyes were locked into something or someone. He had this murderous intent na abot sa amin kahit medyo malayo pa kami.

"We have to stop him! He is goin overboard, the mountains might sink!"

I have always been amused by Cairo's Falcon wings but Leo... he is really something. I have never seen such colorful wings made of flames. Each color ensembled ranges of color from a fire which depends on strength and its heat.

Carmine, Red, Orange, Yellow, Yellow Green, Green, Blue, Violet, Purple, White and Black.

I can't help but feel excited at napahawak ako sa dibdib ko.

"Are you seeing this, Brother?" I whispered. "We're gonna win this war," I added. "We're not alone," sambit ko pa.

Leo's flames transfered into his sword and this time he smiled. He vanished midair at yumanig muli ang lupa kaya ntumba ako. Evie got strangled with the overgrown vines habang si Cairo ay napahawak ng mahigpit sa puno. A huge crack was coming towards us, so we had to leaped away. Beneath the crack was a suge of water coming from the ocean at napangiti kaagad ako. All I thought that Cairo was the strongest but no, he was a Captain and a fake Ace. Their true ace was up there, engulfed in flames, facing the enemy with dignity.

"Oh, hell no," rinig kong sabi ni Cairo. Just a few meters away from us, there was one land who stayed despite the sinking of the land that surrounded it. It was a land with an ancient temple. We have no other way to go there knowing that the ground was still shaking.

Lumapit kami ni Evie kay Cairo and we saw Leo holding Uzma's head. He was breathing deeply while holding his sword. The red petals around him with the blood all over him made me remember something. He glanced at our direction with murderous intent eyes but when he saw us, his sword vanished, and he gave us acomforting smile.

Ah... he gave the same smile as how I saw my brother in a small boat, papunta ulit sa Babylon habang iniwan ako sa Liwet.Leo sauddenly ran towards the opposite direction of where he left Uzmas head at tumalon siya pababa. There we saw Kel and beside him was a huge axe. He was breathing heavily to compensate of what he possible did.

"Did he..." I paused when sa remnants of black gem around. Just a split second, the walls collapsed, and he looked really surprised. Leo ran towards Kel and the next thing we knew, the temple started sinking too. I heard Cairo sighed at napatingin ako sa kaniya.

He was smirking proudly at napatango siya. Oh, I guess Kel passed then. I wonder when I passed my secret exam, hmm.

"Here I though Leo would go overboard," Cairo said.

"He wasn't?!" tanong ko at umiling siya.

"Kel went overboard, he even sunk the temple by spliting its walls," sagot niya.
