Part 12 Apologies

Shaheer's POV

We saw each other while calling us in unison. Our eyes met and it seemed as if clock had stopped tick tocking. We were lost in one another's eyes. Her dark black eyes spoke millions of emotions which I was neglecting for the past 15 days. Damn me!!! How could I do that!? How could I ignore her eyes, her tears, how dare I ignore her!!!

At that moment I decided that I would never leave her like that for this long. If I would, then her single tear drop would be the death of me. And this is a promise to myself. I embraced her as soon as she again started sobbing.

"Nhi, please Pooja, Don't cry!" I told her.

"Tum mujse...mujse bat kyu Nahi Kar rhe the?" She hiccuped between her sobs.

"Kese karta. Mujse Galti ho gyi. I'm sorry"

"To ye bolne me itne din lag gye!"

"Ha! Mai Hu hi bewkoof. I'm really sorry Pooja. Please stop crying."

"Maine tumhara Kitna wait Kia. You can't even imagine."

"I know. But MERI himmat hi nhi hui tumhare paas aane ki bhi. I couldn't meet your eyes." I admitted still hugging her.

"Ek bar Aate to Sahi, chahe sorry NHI Bolte, baat to karte at least!" She yelled while freeing herself. But I tightened my grip.
"Tumne muje miss Nahi Kia?" She continued.

"Bahut Kia. Bahut jaada. Tum Soch Nahi Sakti itna."

"To Aaye kyu Nahi!?"

"I'm sorry Pooja" I kissed her cheeks, her neck and hairs, while caressing her.

3rd Person POV

"Arre chalo samrat! Isse jaada prem Nahi sehen Kar payengi MERI aankhein" Saurav said as the 4 other pandavas were hiding.

"Ha ye Shaheer to chod hi NHI Raha use." Rohit shut his eyes comically.

"Muje bhi sharam aa rhi hai aaj to" Vin laughed.

"To chalein, Shaheer Bhai ko room me aane do, fir bataenge" Lavanya said.

"Ha chalo! Chalo! Arjun beta Sahi jaa Raha hai!" Saurav joked while eyeing Shaheer and Pooja.

Pooja's POV

He was hugging me tightly, not letting me go even an inch away from him. I really missed him.

Later we went to the roof top to spend some quality time. I was not crying anymore. "Mujse to Raha hi Nahi gya, to Mai hi aagyi thi bat Karne" I told him.
"Tum me bhut patience hai Shaheer Jo muje ek bar mud Kar bhi NHI Dekha in Dino"

"Esa Nahi hai Pooja. Trust me! Mai in Dino Kitna depressed tha, you can't imagine." He whined. "Mai to aur sab se bhi bat NHI Kar paa Raha tha, I was feeling hell guilty. Aur..!"

"Aur?" I asked.

"Aur I'm sorry ke Mai tumhe console NHI Kar paya when you were feeling weak during the shoot. Maine apna promise Tod dia tumhe hamesha sambhalne ka. I'm sorry!"

"I'm sorry too. Mai bhi to tumhare Pas NHI aayi, apni ego ki vajah se.." he didn't let me complete and pulled me into a more tight hug under the star laiden sky. I was feeling complete and back to my senses. He had really driven me crazy.

"I know Tumne itne Dino se proper diet NHI li" I said.

"Tumne bhi to NHI li or Dekho girne ki vajah se kitni chot aayi hai. Let me tend your wounds." He held me gently and we went downstairs after an hour or so.

He made me sat in the medical room of the studio and applied medicines on my wounds and bruises. "I want to say one thing"

"Bolo" I was curious.

"Tum ek bahut Achi actress ho. I mean it's your first TV show and you are pulling it really good. I'm proud of you."

"Thank you Mr Shaheer" I smiled.

"No seriously!! I was shook within while seeing you portray your character. Tumne bahut Acha kam Kia hai. Well done!!" He said with a genuine happiness on his handsome face.

Then we went to the mess and fed each other lovingly. I was on seventh heaven. Shaheer and me!! Wow!! "I missed you!" I said aloud while holding his hands.

"Me too. Don't know what's gonna happen to me once it's all over" he said while looking down.

"Kuch chize hamesha ke liye Hoti Hain. Meant to be forever!" I assured him and I kissed his forehead. God knows how I did it. I was never that much courageous. You can see I kissed a guy!!
I promised myself that no matter what happens, I'll always make it up to him. I will love him to my end!
"You are a thing for keeps Mr Shaheer Sheikh" I told him.

"You always steal my lines." He made a funny face.

"Tum kaho to muje line churane ki zarurat na pade!! Keh dia Karo par bas chup mat Raha kro. Please!!"

"I will! Always!" He again pulled me into a big hug and we slept in his room peacefully in each others arms.

In the morning, I could hear someone clearing his throat. I tried to open my eyes and saw Saurav! I jumped "tumm!!?"

"Shant Panchaali shant!" He retorted.
And behind him I saw Rohit, Vin, Sourabh and Lavanya.

"Bat Karne bheja tha sakhi! Sone Nahi! Hmm!!?" Sourabh joked.
I was hell shy! So without uttering a single word, I withdrew my hand from beneath Shaheer and left his room, while face palming myself.

"Arre arre Kaha jaa rahi ho, chai to Piti jao!! BED TEA!" Vin called from behind.
I could still hear their laugh. God!!
