Next morning, Preeta's room.
Preeta (waking up): Good morning world!!
She wakes up and realizes she is on the bed. She remembers the long night drive. She then decides to wake Karan up.
Karan's room.
Karan is sleeping peacefully. Just then Preeta starts jumping on the bed.
Preeta (jumping): Bajarbattuuuuu uthhoooo!!!!
Karan wakes up with a jerk.
Karan: Kya hua babydoll...ab itni subah subah tumhe kaha jaana hai!!???
Preeta glares at him.
Preeta: Utho!!
Karan (sleepily): Bolo...
Preeta (cutely): Thank you...meri care karne ke liye...thank you meri life mein aane ke liye...thank you for everything!!
Karan smiles and hugs her. Preeta is surprised.
Karan: Please...thodi der...
She smiles and hugs him back.
Karan: Tum phir se khidki se aayi na!!
She smiles. He nods his head in dismay.
Karan falls asleep in her arms and she slaps her forehead.
She then goes to her room to get ready.
Later.
Everybody is busy in the preparations for the function.
Karan looks at Preeta and smiles seeing her so enthusiastic.
Preeta: Aap yaha dekhiye...mein junior ko dekh kar aati hu...
She goes to Kartik's room. He is crying and there is nobody to check on him. She takes him in her arms and puts him to sleep.
Karan and Kareena are watching her from outside and smile.
Kareena: Dekha tumne...ek bachcha apni maa ko pehchaan hi leta hai...
Karan: Jaan basti hai uski junior mein...hamara junior...
He smiles and they leave. Preeta puts a sleeping Kartik in his cradle and goes to get ready for the function.
Preeta's room.
Preeta smiles remembering her moments with Karan.
Shrishti: Jiju ke baare soch rahe ho...
Preeta: Mein Karan ke baare mein kyun sochungi!!
Shrishti (smirks): Matlab aap manti hai Karan sir mere jiju hai!!!
Preeta widens her eyes.
Preeta: A...aisa..kuch..
Shrishti: Haan haan mujhe sab pata hai...ek baar apne dil se puchiye di...kya aap Karan sir se pyaar nahi karti...
Preeta (closes her eyes): Shrishti pata nahi yeh kaisi feeling hai...lekin tujhe pata hai...har pal bas uske saath rehna chahti hu...mein uske saath safe feel karti hu, comfortable feel karti hu...mujhe jaise uski aadat si ho gayi hai...meri har khushi usse hai...meri khushi mein woh mere saath ho...uske har dukh mein mein uske saath rehna chahti hu...uske bina jeene ka sochne se bhi darr lagta hai...
Sab kuch bhul gayi di aap...ek nayi zindagi mein bhi aapne Karan sir ko hi chuna...Agar yeh pyaar nahi hai toh phir kya hai...
Preeta: Chal bas bohot hua...tujhe bohot discussion karna hai na...maa ke saath karna...
