Continued.
Preeta is crying and enters the lift. Karan comes behind her asking her to stop. She presses a random button and the lift closes before Karan could enter.
Preeta burts into tears, remembering their moments, remembering every word she just told him.
The lift suddenly stops and the lights go off. Preeta gets scared.
Meanwhile, Karan who was standing outside the lift, realizes this and panics.
Karan: Bhai!! Mom, dad!! Sammy!!
He tries to open the lift with his bare hands.
Rishabh: Kya hua Karan??
Karan (panicking): Bhai...y..yeh lift..band ho gayi hai...Pr..Preeta andar hai...usse kuch hojayega... please...
Mahesh: Karan beta shaant hoja... mein hotel ke staff ko bolta hu..
Shrishti: Di!! Di aap thik toh na!!
Sameer handles Shrishti.
Karan: Bhai please jaldi karo!! Usse claustrophobia hai!!
Everybody is shocked hearing this except Shrishti.
Shrishti: Haan...Jijz bilkul thik keh rahe hai...please jaldi kuch kijiye...
Meanwhile, Preeta starts feeling dizzy and short of breath. She tries to bang the door of the lift but doesn't have that much energy.
The maintenance staff comes and they open the lift. Preeta, who was leaning against the door, falls in Karan's arms.
He picks her up and takes her in a room. Sameer calls the doctor.
Later.
The doctor comes out of Preeta's room.
Karan: Doctor...Preeta kaisi hai..woh thik toh hai na...usse kuch...
Doctor: Dekhiye...shaant hojaiye... Woh bilkul thik hai...bas thodi si weakness hai...woh kal subah tak thik ho jayengi...
Sarla: Hum andar toh jaa sakte hai na...
Doctor: Ji bilkul...
Everybody enters her room. Preeta tries to sit up but Karan stops her.
Karan (tearfully): Hilna bhi mat!! Chup chap leti raho!! Samajh ke kya rakha hai khudko!! Kya zaroorat thi lift mein jaane ki!!
Preeta: Jaise mujhe toh lift ne bataya tha na ki woh band hone wali hai!!
Karan: Tum na...
Rakhi: Bas kar puttar...ek toh uss bichari ki tabiyat thik nahi hai aur tu usse daat raha hai..
Preeta: Aur nahi toh kya!! Seekho kuch maa se!!
Karan: Tum na!! Mujhe tumse baat hi nahi karni!!
Preeta (cutely): Achcha I am sorry na...ek minute...mein kyun sorry bolu!! Galti toh tumhari thi na!! Tum kya mein tumse baat nahi karungi!!
Everybody slaps their forehead.
Karan is still crying silently and Preeta notices that. She feels bad. She gets up and hugs him from the back.
Preeta: Achcha I am sorry na...dekho meine do baar sorry bol diya bina galti ke...ab toh mujhe maaf kardo...
Karan turns and hugs her tightly.
Karan: Mein bohot darr gaya tha... Mein darr gaya tha ki kahi tumhe kuch ho na jaaye...mein tumse dur reh sakta hu babydoll...par tumhe kho nahi sakta...agar tumhe kuch ho jaata toh mein...
