Tony's POV

   I left Bruce in the living room for a few minutes to make some popcorn for our movie night date when I come back to witness a shocking sight... Nat is coming onto Bruce. She's attempting to straddle him and unbutton his shirt... while wearing a sexy black dress and showing A LOT of cleavage. Thankfully he looks very uncomfortable by her actions but I obviously need to put a stop to this. I straighten up, put the popcorn bowl down to cool for a few minutes, and approach her. "Nat, what exactly do you think you're doing?" Bruce looks at me in panic, his eyes flickering green a bit in distress. I need to put a stop to this before all three of us wind up getting hurt. 

     Nat smirks at me. "Earning back what was clearly mine in the first place." Anger boils in me. "You had your chance Nat and you blew it. Bruce is my boyfriend now and we're very much in love. I suggest you back off. If you care about Bruce, you'd get off of him right now." She scoffs and slowly climbs off of him, not before winking at him. "Don't think that this is my last attempt to win him back Tony." With that, she leaves the room finally and Bruce's eyes slowly shift back to their normal brown. I crouch down in front of him, trying to get him to focus on me rather than to shut me out and put a barrier between us. "Bruce, dear, are you okay? She didn't hurt you, did she?" He shakes his head no, slowly snapping out of his trance. "I-I'm okay physically, but I'm a bit shaken up emotionally and mentally."

         He leans his head on my shoulder. "Nat's been my friend for years now but I never felt more betrayed by her than I do right now. She just violated my trust completely. I'll be civil with her on missions, in meetings, etc but I don't think I'll be able to look at her as my friend again for a long time." I stroke his cheek gently. "That's totally understandable love and I feel the exact same way, she violated my trust too. I meant what I said though, she had her chance with you and she blew it. That's not my fault and it's certainly not yours either. I even asked for her blessing to date you before I asked you out and then she winds up pulling a sleazy stunt to try to win you back. I don't mean to sound insecure here Bruce, but you are over her, right?" 

         Bruce takes a hold of one of my hands and squeezes it gently. "I've been over her for two years now. You're the person I love Tony, honestly the love of my life thus far. I really picture us being endgame. Do you?" I kiss him on the cheek. "I really do." The two of us cuddle on the couch for awhile and nibble on popcorn halfheartedly. Also, we eat dinner in my room tonight to spare us from fighting with Nat at the dinner table. We may do this until further notice, especially for Bruce's sake. I'll do anything it takes to put him at ease.
