Bruce's POV

   I'm the biggest dork on the planet but I wanted to ask Tony to marry me in a way that I would have the courage to do so, without a big audience and what not. I created a custom crossword puzzle catered to Tony for him to solve. The main message going across and down of course will merge up to say "Will you marry me?" I'm so nervous to give this to him to solve but I can't wait to see his reaction either. I print it off of my computer and hug it tightly to my chest for a moment before bringing it to Tony's room. I knock lightly on his door and he shouts for me to come in. 

       I bounce on my heels as I enter his room. I try my best not to show my nerves but my hands shake a bit as I hand Tony the piece of paper. He studies it and chuckles. "Another master crossword puzzle for me to solve? Yes! Stay here with me while I do it?" I smile shyly at him. "Sure Tony." I sit down next to him at his desk and watch him put his complete focus into completing the crossword puzzle. It takes him forty five minutes to solve it entirely but when he does... and when he puts the final message together (which is highlighted I might add), he gasps. He looks at me with pure love in his eyes. "YES!" He leaps into my arms and I land flat on my back on his bed. He's right on top of me and looks like he could seduce me at any moment now. 

        I hug him tightly. "I'm so relieved you said yes because I've been rejected so many times in my life and one more rejection would have done me in honestly. I also love you with all of my heart Tony. More than Betty, more than Natasha, and all of my other previous lovers from the past. I can't wait to build a future with you even further, as a married couple." Tony blushes which is a rare sight for him since he's the more macho man between the two of us. "It's all I've dreamed about for years and thanks to you proposing, that dream is now coming true. Please don't pinch me though, I've been through enough pain in every capacity." I chuckle and kiss him on the forehead. "Your wish is my command. Thank you for letting me propose to you in a way that I felt comfortable doing so. Grand gestures are more your thing and subtle ones are more fitting for me."

          Tony buries his head in my chest, it causes my heart to melt each time he does this. "Despite our differences, our hearts merge in harmony." I nod with a dorky grin as I slide the ring onto his finger. He stares at it in admiration for a few minutes before crashing his lips against mine. My lips respond back instantly and I know that proposing in this manner, in this moment, was by far the right decision.
