Chapter 11

Jay's pov

After walking sky home I went back to my room and started day dreaming.  I couldn't help but smile when I remembered how beatifull she looked sleeping in my bed and how I felt when she put her hands against my chest. The feeling was so intense I had to pull away before i did something I'd probably regret.

I spotted something on the bed and realized that sky  had left her phone.  I took the phone and rushed down stairs to sky's place. When I got there the door was wide open and Ethan was about to come out of the house.

"Hi Ethan, going somewhere?

"Hi, No ,I just came to check who was at the door.Is sky still at your house? He asked looking at little concerned.

"No she's not. I just walked her home some few minutes ago."

"Well she's not home and I thought i heard some commotion down stairs but when I came to check no one  was here and the door was wide open," he said his voice filled with worry ,or maybe she went for a walk but then why would she leave the door  open?

"I don't think she went anywhere , she was so exhausted from the party, all she wanted was to freshen up and lay down ,do you think something happened? " I asked him.

"Am not sure but something is not right here. I'll call her, " he said taking out his phone from him side pocket.

"I have her phone Ethan, she left it at my place and I was actually bringing it back to her. "

"Maybe am over thinking too much. Let's just wait a few minutes." Ethan said.

"OK, call me when she comes back."

"Sure," he said as i turned and went back to my house.

When I got home I called Serena to find out if sky was with her but she said she hadn't seen her since the party. I was really getting agitated and  I had a very bad feeling about this.

A few minutes later my door bell rang and I rushed to open  almost flying wishing it was sky but to my disappointment  it wasn't.

"Hi Sam, what's up."

"Hi bro, " he said as he walked in.

"Can I get you something to drink."

"No thanks, I actually came to tell you that the rehearsal won't be happening today. I was at Jim's house but he wasn't home and when I called him he said that he was on a date. Maybe he got lucky last night," he said smiling lightly.

"That's good, I was not in the mood  anyway, "I said sitting down beside him.

"There's something else, I found this outside Jim's house, you must have dropped it while taking sky home last night.I figured it was yours since it has your name and sky's on it, "he said showing me sky's bracelets.

But how could it have gotten there? Did sky go back to Jim's house? Or maybe they are together.

"You found it outside Jim's house? "

"Yes, it belongs  to you right? Are you okay you seem kind of lost."

"Yes am fine. It actually belongs to sky, thanks for bringing it back, " I said taking it from him.

"OK, I have to go. I'll  see you later," he said getting up.

"See you."

Something wasn't adding up here. Sky couldn't have gone back to Jim's house she barely knows the place but then how did the bracelet get there? After what happened last night I trusted Jim even less.

I'll just wait for Sky to show up am sure she's okay or I hopped she was.

I went up to my room and layed  face up on the bed, my phone in my hands waiting for Ethan to call.I had thought of calling Jim to ask if he knew the whereabouts of sky but changed my mind. I wasn't sure but something told me that he had something to do with this.

It was now 5 in the evening and still no news from sky. I couldn't take it anymore, I had being pacing in room for almost an hour filled with worry. I then decided to go to sky's and just wait there with Ethan before I lost my mind.

When I got there Ethan was seated out on the porch corncern written all over his face.

"You don't have any news yet?" I asked.

"Not yet. Am really starting to get worried and I don't know whether to tell my Dad or not ," he said

"Where could she be? Do you think something happened to her? Oh God please let her be safe, " I said praying with all my heart.

" I know we can't go to the police because it hasn't been 24hours yet but we have to do something, I can't wait anymore, "Ethan said fisting his hands with anger.

"I may have a lead but am not sure.A friend of mine found sky's bracelet outside Jim's house, Sky had it when she disappeared so she must have gone to Jim's place at some point, "I told him.

"Is this the same Jim that threw your party last night?"

"Yes and to be frank with you I really think that he is involved in this, am not sure how but I just know he is, "

"Has he ever done something to hurt sky in any way?

"Not really but I think he dragged her last night at the party and was planning to do something to her, "I said.

"What are you talking about? Jim asked almost shouting his eyes wide open.

"Well yesterday at the party Sky disappeared for a while and when  I found her she was unconscious  in Jim's guest room half naked and Jim was with her. "

As soon as i was finished Ethan got up and kicking the wall fiercely.

"Did he do anything  to her? he said through gritted teeth.

"No he dint but I know that he was planning to. Am sorry it was all my fault, I promised to take care of her but I dint, " I said

"What's done is done Jay. You need to go to Jim's house and find out what he's up-to while I wait her in case she comes back. Call me if you find something suspicious and if that guy has  done something to my sister am going to skin him alive," Ethan said

"OK, "I told him and went straight to my car.

My heart was beating really fast as I was driving. I was speeding but I dint really care all I wanted right now was for sky to be safe, I just wanted to see her alive.

I got to Jim's and parked my car not to far from  his house. I went round to the back door and fortunately it was not locked. I went to the guest room  and also Jim's room but noone was there. I looked everywhere but it seemed no one was home.

I was about to leave but then suddenly I heard a scream.I walked quickly but quietly to the basement where I thought  the scream  came from. There was a door open in the basement to a room I had never seen before and the more I got closer the  louder the screams got.

I called Ethan and told him everything and then rushed to the room ready to attack. My entire body went stiff as a board when I saw the sight in front of me.

I think am about to kill someone
