He was definitely talking about our kiss.

I looked the other way because I suddenly felt unsure of my expression, I didn't want him to think I was fond of that kiss.

I had two options, to leave and risk getting caught or to stay here and face this awkward tension. Both were equally bad, but the thought of getting kicked out of the school was far more frightening so I remained still in his room.

"Vandia," he broke the silence after a while.

I was hoping he would start to call me Cana after he did so this afternoon but he was back to calling me by my surname.

"Mhnnn," I gave him a glance.

"Just how dauntless can you be?" he was smirking right at me.

How was I even brave?

"You dare go to my room at night, a guy's room from another house, and yet you can still lie down there comfortably," he looked a little frustrated.

"Do you do this to all guys? Like your Mr. Aikido dude," he scoffed.

Why did he have to bring Tony up? Was his grudge against him that big?

"First of all, you were the one who requested for the water, I thought you had no one else to help you, I didn't need a reason to help. Secondly, I don't wanna be caught so I would rather stay here. Thirdly, I'm tired that is why I can sleep around anywhere that I like," I found myself yawning at the end of my sentence.

He was still looking at me with a smirk taped on his face.

"And no, I do not do this to all the guys I know. I've never even entered Tony's dorm,"  I sighed.

His expression relaxed a little, "Aren't you afraid of what I might do to you?"

"Go ahead and try Ace, one step on that ankle of yours and you might just fall unconscious," I smiled at him wickedly.

"Demonic, is that a trait from Iota too?" he was smiling now.

"Prideful, how about that for someone who belongs to Beta," I retorted.

"So you belong with us too? Your pride always holds you back."

"Hold me back from?" I raised my eyebrows at him.

"From admitting you love me."

I laughed nervously, "Because I don't."

"Sure?"

I found myself think.
