As I walked out of Ruby's room I saw Granny in the hallway. "Emma dear why aren't you getting ready?" "I was just talking to Ruby and if I can I'd like to talk to you?" I walk closer to her and say quietly. "In private". She nods and follows me into my room. I tell her everything that Ruby and I just talked about and she assured me that she already gave Ruby a warning and will definitely be keeping her eyes on her. I thanked her and gave her a hug. As she was leaving I told her that the limo would be here at 6:30. She smiles and nods then leaves. I take a deep breath and go shower. It was nice and hot and worked out a little knot I had in the back of my neck. I'm not really that nervous or stressed out but every now and then I get a knot and it hurts like a bitch. I dry off, put on a nice new pair of Zelena Mills designer boxers that Zelena made especially for me. She also told me that she's thinking about a special line that some women may like. I've seen some of her sketches and I really like them so far. I could never afford them but hopefully I may see something for Christmas. I put on my sports bra and go back into the bathroom and brush my hair and teeth. I go and put on my new black socks and a white t-shirt then by black tuxedo style pants. I didn't put my shoes on just yet. I didn't want to scuff them. I made sure to wear deodorant and some of Regina's favorite perfume of mine. I brushed my hair again and texted Ruby to tell her I was ready for her to do my hair in the French braid that I wanted. She texted back and said she was just putting on her shoes and would be right over. It felt like forever when it was only about 4 minutes till she knocked on my door. I open the door and say. "Bout time". "Ems it was only like 3 minutes. Try to relax a bit. We aren't even at the ceremony yet". "It was almost like 5 minutes. I need to finish getting ready. Hurry up Ruby". "Ok Emma chill. Have a seat". I do and she gets to work. It takes less than 10 minutes and I'm all set to finish getting ready but first we go into the bathroom with a mirror so I can see the the braid. I really like it and I go get my shirt out of the travel bag. I look at it and don't see one wrinkle. I put it on and button it down. I tuck my shirt into my pants and grab the black necktie. I do my best to tie it perfectly. I did it about 5 times. "Alright. I think it's fine". I show Ruby and she just straightens it out. "It's perfect Ems. You look amazing. Regina is gonna want to rip this all right off you". We both let out a laugh and there is a knock at the door. Ruby opens it and its Granny. "Let's go girls. The limo is already here". They both look at me and I let out deep breath. I nod and put on my black tuxedo jacket. I look in the mirror and I can't believe it. I think I actually look great. God I can't wait to marry Regina. "All right you two. I'm ready to go". I make sure I have everything I need. My wallet, phone, definitely the wedding rings. Oh crap the pocket square for my jacket. I almost forgot. I think I've got everything. I take one last look around and.... ok I think I do have everything. Geez so many things to try and remember. I did write a list before I left the house but I of course forgot it at home. I let out one more deep breath and say. "Ok let's do this". I walk out the door first, followed buy Granny, who looks absolutely beautiful by the way in that gown that Zelena designed, then Ruby left the room last. I saw her shut off the lights and close and lock the door. We walk downstairs and go out the door. The driver is standing by the back door of the limo. He opens the door or us. I let Granny get in first then Ruby tells me to get in as she gets in last. There are small bottles of wine, champagne, soda and water. I grab a water and drink most of it down. "Emma dear are you ok?" "Yes Granny. My throat is just a little dry". The car comes to a stop and I say. "Oh god here we go". "You'll be fine Ems. Just take some deep breaths". "I know Ruby I just hate being the center of attention. I can't wait to marry Regina I just don't like everyone watching me say my vows that I'll probably never make it through". We all get out of the car and the wedding planner greets us. "Well I've been expecting you ladies. I'm glad you are here. Please follow me to a private room we have especially for you Emma". I nod and Granny and Ruby follow me into the room Hector, the wedding planner showed us to. I grabbed a water bottle from the big cooler that was in the room and sat on a comfortable couch. I downed most of the water. Why the hell am I so thirsty? Granny and Ruby sit and talk to each other but I'm just in my own world. There was a knock at the door that I didn't hear but I saw the door open. It's Hector. He claps his hands and says. "Ok people it's show time. I hope you are ready". I finish my water and grab a new bottle. I take it with me. Last thing I want to do is not be able to speak during my wedding vows. Hector says I can't keep it with me at the alter. I told him to screw off that I'd keep it in my jacket pocket. He tried to argue with me but I said we hired him and we could fire him and he shut up quickly. I walk out of the room and into the hall and make sure Granny and Ruby are behind me. Hector leads us out to where the wedding will be. There is some soft music being played so ruby and I step inside the small hall area and take our places near the minister. I smile and nod at him and a quick moment later the ceremony music starts. Granny is walked down the isle and she look beautiful. I hardly ever see her in anything other that a chef's coat and an apron but Zelena's people were right. This light lavender gown is so beautiful. She gets to the front row of the side I'm standing on. I quickly go over and hug her and whisper in her ear. "Granny you look beautiful". I retake my spot at the alter and Zelena is now being walked down and takes her spot and smiles at me. Finally the wedding march begins to play and I close my eyes and take a deep breath then let it out. I open my eyes and see the most gorgeous sight walk down the isle to me. She's really walking to me with a big smile on her face. I don't think I've never seen the glow she has to her like she she has now. My face is starting to hurt because I'm smiling so big. She finally gets to me and I take her hand as she steps up to the alter. She hands her flower bouquet to her sister. I didn't even notice she was carrying it because I was just so focused on her eyes and smile. I have her right hand held in my left hand as we are facing the minister as he begins to speak. "Dearly beloved we are gathered here today to be witnesses as these ladies pledge their love and commitment to each other. I can tell just by looking at the smiles on these faces that stand before me that they are so happy and so in love with each other. I've officiated many weddings and commitment ceremonies over the years and I always try to give the couple a few words of advice. The first is communication. I can't tell everyone enough in this room how important communication is. I truly believe that it keeps a relationship going. Next is respect. It's very important to respect one another's decisions. Next is intimacy and it's not just sex I'm talking about. Just spending time with one another and holding hands, or holding each other. It's even a text message while you both are at work to say something as simple as I'm thinking of you and I love you. Lastly is probably the one I find most important and that is trust. If there is no trust there is no relationship. So tonight Regina and Emma have come here as individuals to become one in front of all their family and friends. So without further ado I say we begin getting these to lovely people married. Regina have you come here today of your own free will to be married to Emma Swan?" "Yes I have". "Emma have you come here today of your own free will to marry Regina Mills?" "I definitely have. Yes". I feel Regina squeeze my hand. "Ok ladies please face each other and repeat after me. I Regina Mills take you Emma Swan to be my wife from this day on so help me god". Regina repeats the words then it was my turn. "Ok Emma please repeat after me. I Emma Swan take you Regina Mills to be my wife from this day on so help me god". I also repeat the words then he asks for the rings. I take the box out of my jacket pocket. I open it and hand him the rings. He first gives Regina the ring for me and says. "Regina please repeat after me. Emma please take this ring as a symbol of our love and devotion. Please wear it to always remember the love we share". She looks deep into my eyes as she repeats those words then puts the ring on my left ring finger. "Emma please repeat after me. Regina please take this ring as a symbol of our love and devotion. Please wear it to always remember the love we share". I also repeat the words and slip the ring on her left ring finger. "So now if there is anyone in this room that knows a reason why these two lovely souls should not be married, let them speak now or forever hold their peace". We wait about 10 seconds and as the minister starts to speak we hear a throat clear and someone stands up. I take a good look and it Regina's mother Cora. "I have something to say". I think to myself. That fucking bitch. She starts walking up the isle to come closer to us and I really want to punch the shit out of her. "I don't believe what my daughter Regina is doing the right thing. I also have never seen her look so happy in all my life. I was waiting for the right moment to object but there wasn't one and I'm not doing that now. I'm sorry I interrupted the ceremony but I really needed to say this. Regina, Emma I give you both my blessing. I hope you have a long and happy marriage together. Well that's all I have to say. Please carry on". She smiles at both of us and walks back down the isle and sits in the last row. The minister says. "Ok well that's a first for me. So now if that's all I'd like to now say, by the authority entrusted in me by the state of Maine. I now pronounce in front of all these people that you Emma and you Regina are now married. I hope you both live a long and happy life together. You both may now kiss the bride". I take Regina in my arms and we share a beautiful kiss for the first time as a married couple. We hear everyone clapping for us. We separate and we hold hands as we start walking down the isle. We see Cora in the last row clapping. She's up to something I just know it. We walked out the doors and stopped to share a kiss. "We did it babe. We are married now". "I'm so happy my love. My wife". We kiss again and I lead us off to the room I was in just before the ceremony. As soon as I close the we start to share passionate kisses. Then we go sit on the couch and kiss a little more when we hear a knock at the door. We're still holding each other as I say. "Come in". And in walks Cora Fucking Mills. "I'm sorry to interrupt. Well not really that sorry. I still don't believe in this union but what's done is done now isn't it?" "What do you want mother?" "Oh my dear child I want everything you are able to receive and since you have gotten married you will receive it. I recently found out that you get an incredibly generous gift from your father on the day of your wedding. So I came up with an idea". "And what would that be mother?" "Ok Regina. Tomorrow your father's lawyer will contact you to tell you that you have now inherited 10 million dollars that will be deposited into your bank account first thing in the morning". "What, why?" I'm just sitting here listening to this and I'm wondering where it's leading to. "Regina your father wanted to make sure that you will always be able to take care of yourself and your family without any worries". "And what does that this have to do with you mother?" "I want the money Regina and if I don't receive it I will make sure that every school, college and university all over these 50 states, and if you decide to leave the country I will inform wherever you go that you are a pedophile. That had many affairs with your under age students including Miss Swan here". "Mother you can't be serious. No charges were ever filed against me because of Emma. Besides we didn't start dating till she was out of school and over 19 years old. Well above the age of consent". "Well you may be correct on that part Regina but you also served as Miss Swan's tutor isn't that correct dear? And if I recall you still are and were a licensed teacher at that time". She stops talking and has a bitch smile on her face. "Your a fucking bitch Cora. You will actually do this to your own daughter?" "It's just business Miss Swan that's all". "It's more than that and you know it. Your blackmailing your daughter. How can you feel good about this?" "Oh so you are worried about Regina losing this money". I stand up quickly and say. "I don't give a damn about Regina's money. I didn't know she had any when I first fell in love with her and I could still care less if she give up everything she has or not. I love her not her money. Unlike you Cora who is supposed to be her mother. Your disgusting". "Oh I'm the one that's disgusting? If I think about it isn't you that is actually a man in a woman's body?" "Mother how dear you". Cora laughs. "Save it Regina she's not worth it. You are the worst kind of so called mother I've ever seen. It's just terrible the way you are treating your daughter right now but I guess she shouldn't expect anything less from some gold digging bitch like you". Cora laughs again. "Oh Regina you've got a comedian with this one here. I like to refer to myself as an opportunist Miss. Swan I saw an opportunity and I took it. Seize the day. That's what this world is about". "Mother you can go to hell. Your not getting a damn thing". I look at Regina and her eyes are all wet and she's crying. "Look at that Cora. Your daughter is crying because of what you are doing right now. I hope you are happy with yourself". "Not yet but I will be as soon soon as my daughter transfers the money into my account. Well I should be going now. Congratulations again. It's about time you got married Regina I've waited long enough for this. Good bye for now". She leaves and I hold Regina in my arms as she cries.
