I found myself staring coldly at my family who were arguing about small matters. My brother and my father are shouting at each other. My mother, who is always calm in everything, is watching them unbothered. It was like she expects this to happen. I don't know about this matter. Ayaw ko na ring alamin pa dahil ayaw ko nang madagdagan pa ang iniisip ko.

"No, Daddy! Magkakamatayan muna kami!" Cleve's loud voice filled the whole dining room.

"Stop shouting at me, Cleve! I am your father! Saan na ba napupunta 'yang respeto mo?" Dad shouted back. "Alam mo na 'yon simula pa no'ng una! So will you please, Cleve, calm the fuck down?!"

Mom took a glance on my side and when she saw me, padarag niyang inilapag ang kanina niya pang hawak na baso. My father and brother stopped shouting at each other after hearing the sound. Sabay silang lahat na napatingin sa akin. They looked away and Dad fixed his necktie.

"Good morning po," I greeted them as I kissed both of my parents. Tinapunan ko rin ng tingin ang Kuya kong hinahabol ang kan'yang hininga. Mukhang galit na galit siya. Hindi siya 'yong tipong sumasagot kay Daddy because he always looked up our father but maybe, he has a deep reasons for answering back our father.

Nang maramdaman niyang nakatingin ako sa kan'ya, padarag siyang umupo at agad na umiwas ng tingin. Tumaas ang kilay ko dahil doon.

"Good morning, anak," Mom smiled. "What do you want to eat? Hindi pa kasi nakakapaghanda ang cook."

I tilted my head a bit on the side and gave them a sharp look. My brother, Cleve, is drinking water to avoid my gaze. My dad, on the other hand, is talking with someone on the phone. Mom, who's a good observant, is now looking at me with his beautiful eyes.

"Hindi na po, My. Mauuna na po ako. Sa school na ako kakain dahil may aasikasuhin po ako roon. Sorry po." I gave them an apologetic smile and waited for my Daddy's approval. Nang tumango siya ay mabilis na akong tumalikod upang maglakad papalayo.

It looks like they're talking about something. Kapag may problema, sila-sila nina Kuya ang nag-uusap. Hindi nila ako sinasali. Maybe because Kuya Cleve is the eldest so they think that mas malaki ang responsibilidad niya kaysa sa akin. I disagree about that, though I can't do anything about that because it's my Daddy's command. Ayaw ko silang suwayin.

My mood today is nice, though I could feel that something is missing in my heart. I feel incomplete but I have to be contented in everything that I have. Pahalagahan ang nand'yan, pakawalan ang nang-iwan.

I arrived in school earlier than I expected. I texted my boyfriend to update him because he likes it when I'm updating him in everything that I'm doing. Hindi naman siya demanding. Ang sabi lang niya, kung may oras pa naman ako para i-text siya, i-text ko raw siya. He's clingy, I know, but I love that personality of him.

"Captain!" I heard a voice from behind. I looked back and I saw my teammates that are waving their hands to me. I smiled widely and I walked toward them.

"Stop calling me captain. Gan'yan niyo ba 'ko ka-idol?" Nang-aasar kong tanong. "Just kidding. Sydney na lang kasi. Mas'yado kayong formal. Parang hindi niyo ako close, ah!"

"The title suits you," nagngingiting saad ni Talia. "I can't wait to see you play again!"

"Stop talking about that, Talia! Kita mo namang hindi ko na inaalala 'yan, e!" Pia shouted.

"Sino na naman kaya ang palihim niyong sasaktan sa laro?" Mg eyebrows wiggled. "Gawain mo 'yon, Jianne, 'di ba? Nanunulak ka at nananapak," I chuckled.
