it's been like a month since i've written, but honestly there's not much to say. i've just been working and watching netflix when i'm home.

work has been pretty good for the most part. i woke up late one day but it was no biggie. but the other day, my manager was being a big pain in the ass.

in the last month to month and a half, i've rewatched all of avatar the last airbender, finished season 16 of grey's anatomy, watched all of pose, and started dear white people. my brother and i also started the warrior nun. we only got into most of the first episode but it does look good so far. 

um what else is there..?

i finished registering for classes yesterday. i met with my academic advisor the other day and signed up for majority of my classes, but i made a couple changes yesterday. i think it's final now. these are the classes i'm taking: aerospace studies 1, leadership laboratory 1, beginning russian 1, navigating media and news in the digital age, modern russian literature, and modern russian culture. most of them are online, so we'll see how it all works out.

i'm also waiting on housing assignments right now. they delayed those because everyone (only about 25% of housing applicants) is getting single rooms. i really hope they don't make us pay singles prices, but we'll see... once i get that and a move in date, i'll be changing my flight because we're starting school a week earlier and ending on nov 25 so i have a month-long winter break.

i also joined this snapchat group for the freshman afrotc cadets, so we're starting to talk and get to know each other a bit.

as far as current events, there's so much going on i don't even know anymore. kanye west is running for president. like, i think it's legit. he'd have to run as an independent. but anyways, i don't think he'll win, but he's gonna pull votes for sure. that might guarantee a trump win tbh, but i do hope it pulls the other way. yikes.

i haven't been doing anything other than work and netflix almost literally, but i hope to get back to painting soon. i have a project in mind, but i haven't started planning it yet. i want to paint a series of indya moore. they're a non-binary trans actress and literally one of the most beautiful people i've ever seen. they were in pose, which is how i discovered them. more updates on that later!
