okay this is my attempt at actually starting to journal more frequently. i know journaling here is just a thing i wanted to do 1) to look back and read on in the future and 2) to reflect for fun. but because i actually really enjoy it, and i just get carried away with everything else and don't ever make time for it, i made it one of my health goals this semester. the health officers had us come up with physical, mental, and fitness goals for the semester:

physical: sleep at least 7 hours a night

mental: journal at least twice a week

fitness: reduce 1.5 mi time to 13:00 (primary); run 3 times a week (secondary)

if i'm being completely honest, i haven't been keeping up with any of them. it might appear that i'm keeping up with my physical goal because i've simply been logging my hours. that's easy to do, though. it doesn't mean i'm making any effort to increase my hours or make it more consistent. i just added a line graph to the side of the chart because i comprehend visuals better, so maybe by having the crazy zig zags right in front of me will encourage me to actually fLaTtEn ThE cUrVe.

anyways i just got my first russian literature midterm paper back and i made a b!!!! wooooo! i pulled an all nighter for it last week and was just hoping for a b, so we did it!
