"Yo Sam, you ready to go?" Colby asks as he knocks before opening the door to his best friend's room. The boy lifts his eyes from his phone to notice that Sam isn't by himself in his room like he had expected. Katrina sat on the circular bed that sat in the corner of the room and shot Colby a nice smile before speaking.

"Hi Colby!" She spoke excitedly as her grin grew bigger. She was always the bubbliest and happiest person anyone had ever met, but her smile soon turned into a look of confusion as she chewed on her bottom lip. "Where are you and Sam going?" she pondered.

"Grab something to eat and maybe find something else to do after. We haven't really planned anything out," Colby finished his statement with a slight chuckle as he hears movement coming from the closet, assuming Sam is in there.

"Shit." Both Kat and Colby hear the mumbled profanity come from the closet as Sam walks out, pulling a light blue top that complimented his eyes very nicely over his head. He met the blue eyes of his best friend before he begins his apology. "I am so sorry, Colby. I forgot we made plans and I promised Kat we'd hang out tonight."

"No, don't worry about it, bro. I'll get Jake or Corey to go with me," he reassured Sam as he backed closer to the door to leave.

"Wait, Colby. Why don't you go with us?" Katrina suggested as she fiddled with the ends of her brown highlighted locks.

"No, it's fine. I don't want to intrude on your night together. I can get someone else to come with me," Colby repeated, but Kat was persistent.

"It's totally fine. You won't be intruding, I promise. We want you to come. Right, babe?" Sam nodded. The two boys shared a look before Colby agreed to go with them.

"I heard you guys wanted a drink menu. Y'all celebrating something or just here to have a good time?" You spoke with enthusiasm as you pass out the three beverage menus to the lovely trio sitting at the table. It was clear as day that the two brunettes were a couple, but the one with a slight blue tint to his hair had definitely caught your eye.

"Nope, we are celebrating," the beautiful girl before you mentioned before gazing loving at the boy next to her. To witness such an amazing example of love brought the hugest smile to your face and a blush dusted across your cheeks.

"Well, I'll let you browse the menus for a moment," you inform them as you make eye contact with each of them. The boy who had caught your attention held your gaze a bit longer before you broke it to return to the bar.

"Okay, she totally likes you!" Katrina squeals after you are out of hearing distance.

"Shh, she'll hear you," Colby hushed before turning his attention back to the menu you had handed him earlier.

"You can't deny that there wasn't something between you two," Sam comments as his blue eyes search for something appetizing to drink.

"I don't even know her. All I know is that she is absolutely gorgeous, and she seems super sweet and cool," Colby tells the couple sitting across from him.
