Chapter 31: Monsters

"Where are our friends? Where are our friends who've been turned into lacrima?!" Gray growls as he prepares an attack. He places his hands on the ground and small ice bergs come out and attack the soldiers. 

"It's nice that you're here!" I tell Erza. She smiles at me and before she can say anything, she notices something behind me. She runs and I look and see her stopping other Erza from attacking Gray from above. When the two weapons clash, a huge gust is created. I hear a yell from a distance, "You're in big trouble now! I'm gonna demolish you!" 

"We have to get the others." Me says. We help the others stands and run off in the direction of the scream along with Gray, Lucy, Carla, and Happy. I stop running and look back. "Come on!" I yell at the other me. 

"I have to go back." She tells me. 

"Why?!" I say. 

"I'll see what I can do to help! Thank you! This has been fun." She yells before running off. 

"Y/n! Let's go!" I hear Gray yell. I nod at her and run after the others. As we run, Gray explains to us how he's here. 

"So how are you here?" I ask. 

"Gajeel helped us." He says. He tells us more and I ask, "So you're telling me that the huge lacrima in the plaza was just you and Erza?" 

He nods. He tells us that only dragon slayer magic can turn the lacrima back to normal. According to Mystogan. So Happy glies off in search of Gajeel to take him to the lacrima. When we reach the door, Gray kicks the door open and we find Natsu and Wendy laying on the floor. 

I run over to Natsu and hold his head up. "He's unconscious." I say. 

"Wendy is too." Gray tells me. Gray grabs over to me and grabs Natsu's collar, shaking him aggressively. "Quit sleeping, Natsu! Wake up already, you jerk!"  

"H-hold Gray!" Lucy says. 

"For now, let's give em some of those pills." Gray says and pulls out a small glass of pills from his pocket. 

"What are those?" I ask, remember Mystogan giving them to me. 

"X Balls. Gajeel gave em to us. Mystogan didn't give you any?" He asks me. I nod and Lucy tells us that Mystogan gave her some too. 

"These pills let us use magic in this world." Gray briefly explains before placing a pill in Natsu's mouth. Natsu swallows it and starts coughing, waking up. 

"Are you okay, Natsu?" Lucy asks. He doesn't answer and just punches the floor, fire engulfing his fists. "W-we have to stop them." Natsu growls. 

"Stop?" Lucy questions. He then lifts his head up and breaths out a whole lot of fire. Without warning, he stands up and runs off. "Hey!" Gray calls after placing a pill into Wendy. "Run after him!" Gray tells me. I nod and do so.

"They're monsters!" Natsu yells as I drag him back to the others. I throw him once we reach them. He stands up and spins around screaming, "There were two Erzas! What the heck?! What was that?! What was it?! A showdown between those two monsters is the end of the world I tell you-!" He stops his screaming and looks at Gray. 

"Whoa, it's Gray!" Natsu shouts. 

"Man, you're annoying." Gray tells Natsu. 

"Yup. He's good ol' Earth Land Gray, all right." Lucy says. 

"Huh? You're our Gray?!" Wendy realizes. Gray is hurt. 

"You just now noticed?" Carla asks and Wendy nods. 

"Oh? Maybe it's cause there's not much sunlight all the way down here? I feel practically invisible..." Gray sulks. 

"Whatever. Just put some clothes on Gray." Natsu tells him. 

"Oh! When did that happen?!" Gray panics. 

"You were naked from the start." I tell him. Natsu lends him his coat and we run out the room. "Now let's find the king and stop him from crashing the lacrima!" Natsu says. 

We start running and we stop when he yells, "Wait! The two monsters are fighting that way! Let's go here!" He points. 

"Can we really leave Erza alone though?" Lucy asks. 

"We're talking about Erza here." I says. 

"Her opponent, too, though." Gray says. So we run in the opposite direction of where Erza vs Erza was taking place. Lucy, Wendy, and Carla going somewhere else.

"Where is this king?!" Natsu asks as we run around. 

"I don't know! Some high and mighty place seeing as he's the king!" Gray responds. The two stop running and clash heads. 

"Where's a high and mighty place?!" Natsu asks. 

"How should I know?! I've never stepped foot in this castle before!" Gray growls back. I step in between the two and place hands on their faces before snapping their necks apart like Erza does. 

"We have to keep moving. This castle is too complicated. None of us can figure it out. I wouldn't be surprised if there's an amusement park here too." I say.

We continue running and skid to a stop when we see an actual amusement park. We walk in and look at the rides. We stop when suddenly the carousel starts working. "Such fun! This is truly enjoyable." A man with pink armor, very sharp jawline, and large hair says. We hear something from behind us. 

I feel someone grab me and push me down. Gray was on top of me and I see a huge boat ride had swung at us. "This is awesomely fun magic power..." A boy on top says. "This magic is about to vanish from this world. Do you know how that makes us feel?"

Pink armor guy then says, "We will obtain everlasting magic power. No matter what it takes." 

"We're desperate here. We won't let anyone get in our way!"
