Chapter 70: Tag Battles | Day Four

I was actually really interested in who was in the rabbit costume. I saw them on the first day and I've been curious since. "At last, the time has come to unleash you." Ichiya says to the rabbit. All were intrigued. The rabbit puts its hand on the mask and removes it slowly. "Go ahead and show them your handsome face!"

"HUUH?!" Everyone in the arena yells as they see it Nichiya from Edolas. Well, they don't know it's Nichiya. They just find it strange that it's a cat that looks just like Ichiya. Ichiya then jumps into the air and the Nichiya jumps out of the suit and into the air too.

The two land gracefully. "Double Handsome Attack!"

A weird and nasty smell spread through the whole arena. "There are... two Ichiyas?!" Erza's voice trembles as she faints and Gajeel manages to catch her.

"That's not wild! In the first place, you're disqualified if somebody outside of Blue Pegasus participates!" Rocker yells.

The exceed Ichiya removes his shirt and reveals a blue Blue Pegasus mark on his back. The two sparkle as Ichiya tells the story of how the two even met, "It was an encounter with myself... It was fate."

Nichiya says after Ichiya, "Yes. It happened one sunny afternoon..."

Back to Ichiya, "Sensing the parfum of an attractive person, I entered a forest, I walked on and on, but nothing appeared... It was then I thought that perhaps... I was lost parfum-men! So I tried to leave, but only succeeded in walking deeper and deeper into the forest. Finally, starving and dehydrated, I collapsed. But luckily, that forest was the adobe of Exceeds who came to Earthland. "What a beautiful human!" "What a beautiful cat!" "Hey get a grip! Is there something you'd like?" "A glass of water." "Sure. Right away. Refreshing at a time like this..." Little did I know that this development would become a classic romantic drama parfum!" The two then start posing while saying "men."

Bacchus then charges in front of the two. He goes to attack the cat and the cat raises his palm in a stop motion. Bacchus ignores this and just sends him flying with the palm of his hand.

"Men!" The little cat screamed.

"What did you do?!" Ichiya cried.

The little cat attempts to stands, but just passes out. Ichiya starts sweating nervously. "It can't be!" Ichiya exclaims.

The two of Quatro Puppy creep up behind Ichiya. "Four... Time to stop messin' around." Bacchus smirks.

"For us, it's not or never, so we're gonna win this." Rocker states.

"Suddenly the revealed identity of the bunny is down!"

"That makes it two against one."

"Game over then?! Thank you very much!"

The two walk closer and closer to Ichiya. Ichiya backs up afraid. The two then start to beat poor Ichiya up. Ichiya falls to the floor after a beat down. It looked like the match was over until Ichiya stood. Ichiya starts to glow and grow and grow muscles.

"Muscle men. Muscle me." He repeats as he transforms. He looks at the cat Ichiya, "I dedicate this parfum to you! The parfum called victory!"

Ichiya marches over to Bacchus and Rocker. The two charge at him. "That this! It's my beautiful.... smile!" Ichiya smiles at the two. The two stop in their tracks. "Smash!" Ichiya punches the two up in the sky.

We're all with our drops to the floor.

"Down! Quatro Puppy is down! The winner is Blue Pegasus!"

The crowd cheers loudly.

"Against Bacchus?!" Erza exclaims in surprise.

"He won, two against one...." I say surprised too as he blows kisses to the crowd.

"It looks like he's not just an idiot." Gray says.

"Nah! He's awesome!" Natsu gushes over Ichiya.

"Alright, on to the second match! Lyon and Yuka from Lamia Scale!" The crowd cheers for the two. "Versus Kagura and Millianna from Mermaid Heel!"

"Lyon and Kagura, huh? This should be interesting." Natsu says.

I nod, "She's so cool!"

"Mr. Yajima, what are your thoughts on this match?"

"I wouldn't be surprised if either side won."

I look down and watch as both teams make their way to the center of the field. "Both Lyon and Yuka are strong opponents! Millianna! Don't let your guard down!" Erza warns Millianna.

"Cheering for Mermaid Heel?" Gajeel asks.

Erza nods, "Yeah. We've known each other a long time. It's only natural that I'd support her."

Gajeel turns back to Gray, "You've known Lyon for a long time, right? Aren't you interested in this?" He asks him.

"Not really. We're in different guilds now and are rivals." He replies.

I sigh, "Lucy and Elfman would love to watch these matches."

"In that case, let's watch it carefully for them. So we can tell them about it later." Natsu says to me as he places his hand on my back.

"I guess you're right." I tell him.

Millianna looks up at the Fairy Tail booth. "Maybe.... Jellal is watching from the stands." Millianna thinks to herself. Y/n notices Millianna looking at her and waves at her with a big smile on her face. Millianna doesn't wave or smile back. She just glares.

"Millianna. Focus." Kagura interrupts Millianna's thinking. Millianna looks at Kagura.

"What was that about?" Erza asks me after seeing Millianna not wave or smile back at me. I shrug, "Maybe she's too focused on her match."

"The time limit is 30 minutes! Alright, let the match begin-kabo!" The pumpkin announces and the gong is hit. Millianna removes her hooded cloak and jumps into the air, "Cat Binding Tube!"

A cat tail like string is released from pink magic circle. The two members of Lamia Scale manage to dodge it. "Is Millianna fighting alone?" I ask when I notice Kagura didn't attack. Millianna kept attacking alone and when Lyon tried attacking Kagura, Millianna stopped his ice eagles with her magic.

Millianna alone was managing well by herself. "She looks so relaxed." Erza mentions.

"Maybe it's because she feels secure with Kagura behind her." I say. Millianna removes her gloves and scratches the two with cat claw nails. At one point she managed to trap the two with her cat binding magic. It was going well until Lyon made a mouse. That caused Millianna get stop fighting and chase after it. They were treating her like a cat and it was working.

Lyon finally starts attacking by releasing and ice tiger to attack Millianna. Millianna just ran for it and crashed into the wall, making her fall unconscious. Kagura steps forward. Yuka used his wave magic. His magic nullifies other magic, but it was pointless since Kagura didn't use magic. All she was using is a sword. It look one slash of her unsheathed sword to take him down.

He didn't get one hit. Now it was one on one. "She defeated Yuka without drawing her sword. She's more powerful than I thought." Gray says.

I nod, "I'd love to fight against her. She seems like a real competition."
