One Month Later...
Brandi
"You got it baby?"
"Yeah, ima big boy." Aiden said struggling to carry the grocery bag.'
"Baby let me get that."
"No mommy No! I got it." I couldn't help but chuckle at him as he dragged the bag toward the front door.
Rolling my eyes I yanked the paper off of the door. "You been looking good ma, I see yo son back tell him I said wasup." - M.
I knew exactly who it was thats been leaving these notes on my door for the past week. Unlocking the door i kept my hand on the gun in my purse checking every closet, and bedroom.
I never thought I would have to keep watching over my shoulder but when a crazy person says something like its not the last of me you believe them. I would go to the police but I'm not sure if they would help much.
"Aiden, I'm gonna take a shower before I start on dinner, while I'm in the shower do not open the door for nobody. You hear me?
"Yes ma'am." He nodded not taking his eyes off of the ninja turtle cartoon that played on tv.
Every since the incident with Maurice I've been on edge. Removing my clothes I stepped into the shower turning the water on standing under the shower head letting the water take away stress of the day.
Time passed before I turned the water off wrapping a large towel around my body I made my way into my adjoined bedroom walking into my closet. Tossing on a pair of boy shorts and tank top I made my way back out into the front of thee apartment.
My eyebrows knitted hearing a voice that didnt belong to Aiden.
"Aiden!' I yelled makin him jump and the person next to him turn toward me.
"Hello Brandi." He smiled standing to his feet.
"What are you doing here?" I rolled my eyes grabbing the grocery bag walking into the kitchen.
"I was in the neighborhood, I can't stay long but I have a question."
"I don't want you to stay long, and whatever it is you couldn't have just texted me?"
