(Name)'s client was nothing but a stubborn mess. It took them hours to close off a deal, which meant (Name) missed the whole school festival experience.
Frozen air hit her face as she walked out of the restaurant, hazed and exhausted to even walk home. But it's the breeze that kept her alive, so she proceeded with the plan. Pulling out her mittens from the coat of her pockets, she slipped them on and wrapped a scarf around her neck.
Yes, she does have the ability to keep herself warm, but let's act a little normal for tonight.
(Name) shoved her hands inside her pockets and stepped outside, taking a small inhale of the air that surrounded London itself. The vintage light poles illuminated the city beautifully, with people of different ages, ethnicities, genders and animals walking on the side of the road, chatting about different things like dinner, tourists attractions, etc.
She started to walk with the current of the crowd, to blend in on what's normal.
(Name) enjoyed the night stroll around London. It has been a long time since she saw bricked road and saw medieval like building structures.
The last time she felt like this was when she was back at Glitherial— back when she had the privilege and freedom to roam around the streets in such a young age.
Don't get her wrong, she never really despisd Glitherial that much. Her hatred started when her mother died and the people turned their back against her—after hearing that she had no magical ability.
They all thought she was useless, untill they felt the effect of her actually leaving the realm.
But just like any other crowd or environment, there will always be people who'll have your back—though for (Name), it was less than the fingers of one hand. And there would always be beautiful sceneries that would capture you speechless.
Speaking of people, it was a shock to see a familiar face here in London.
On a small bridge that hovered over a small river, (Name) came to a halt when she heard, "princess (Name)?" A few feet away from her.
She eyed the area, for a quick second, (Name) didn't see anyone peculiar. People were just walking by with their own small conversations. But that was until the crowd cleared a bit, allowing her to see a man standing a few meters away from her with a face of disbelief.
His mouth was slightly ajar, and his breath visible against the cold air. His disheveled brown hair slowly dancing against the wind and his book bag dropped on the floor. He looked completely surprised to see (Name), but she was just as confused.
