꧁sixty-two꧂ Ataeru's Siblings.
(Name), Lancelot and Carlitos entered the skyscraper in a triangular formation with her on the tip and the two men on her side. The three walked confidently as the employees gaped at them before quickly bowing to pay respect.
"Who's the tan man with them?" Was one of the most circulating question once they entered. Everyone knew who Lancelot was, but Carlitos was a new sight.
Upon hearing this, Carlitos turned his head towards them and gave them a court nod.
They entered the elevator silently with no other people in the same cart—more like everyone ran away when they saw the three going their way, but that's not really the point here. Lancelot pressed the highest floor, indicating that they were going to Ataeru's office.
"This is definitely different than London's," Carlitos comments as he looked around the elevator.
"Why? Is there something wrong there?" (Name) asked and looked at Carlitos through their reflection on the elevator doors. "I need to know, so I can call construction."
Carlitos instantly shook his head and waved his hands in front of him baffled, " no. no. no. It's just that this building—-this branch is bigger than the one back there." He rubbed the back of his neck nervously. Lancelot watched as his friend be an embarrassing mess, he tried to suppress a laugh and Carlitos noticed this, "shut up!"
Lancelot turned to him innocently, "I didn't do anything..?"
Carlitos' brows stitched as he tried his best not to tackle the man right now. (Name) witnessed their friendly fight and couldn't help but chuckle. A smile stretched her lips as she slowly shook her head.
The doors opened and the first thing they saw was the worried expression of Ataeru's secretary.
Her gaze fell on Ataeru's door with her eyes lacing with worry. (Name) looked over to the frosted wall that separated the secretary's desk and his office.
And besides Ataeru, there were two more figures inside the room with him.
"Something's not right, I assume?" Carlitos spoke up which caught the attention of the secretary.
"No shit, sherlock." Lancelot mocks which earned another growl from Carlitos.
"Ms. (Name)!" The lady gasped and ran to her. "There's a lady and a man that went inside the room with no reservation to meet with the C.E.O."
"Did they at least introduce themselves?"
The secretary shook her head, "they didn't give a name but they said they know Ataeru." She glanced back at the direction of Ataeru's office once more before turning back to her, "they also said they're close. But I can clearly see they're not!"
