After baby

Chapter 2-Emery

Mommy has been telling me she is going to have another baby and I am really upset about it I can't stop crying I don't want a new baby in the house I like it just been me my mommy and daddy I don't like even when Addy comes over and my daddy gives her a hug of course I don't tell him that I just give them an evil look because my mom always tell me if I don't have anything nice to say I shouldn't say anything at all

"Em are you ok"my dad asks me for the 5th time "yes I'm fine"

"Are you sure"

"I'm perfectly sure I'm fine look at my face I'm fine"I give my fakest smile and storm down to my room I slam my door shut jump on my bed and scream into my pillow "I don't want a new baby"I jump up and storm around my room I hear a knock on my door "Emery can I come in"it's my dad

"No go away"I say but he comes in anyway "Hey tell me what's wrong"he says and I shake my head he takes my hand and walks over to my bed and we both sit down "you can tell me anything princess you know that"

"And you won't be mad"

"I promise"

"I just....I like it just been me you and mom and the special time we have together it will be gone"I say trying my best not cry again "baby listen things will change but it will be good there will be a new person in our family to love but you will always be my number 1 baby I promise but please don't be upset"he wipes under my eyes and hugs me "let's go back out"he takes my hand and we go back out to my mommy "hey are you ok sweetie"my mommy bends down to me I love her so much she smells like vanilla "daddy explained everything to me and I think I feel a little bit better"I sniffle

"It's ok to feel this way Emery"she takes a tissue wiping my nose and hugs me "you just have to make sure you tell us how your feeling so we can try help you"

"where is the baby"I say and both of them look at me weird "what..do you...mean"my dad says weird "if mom is having a baby where is the baby"

"The baby is in mommy's tummy"my mom says pointing to her tummy "how did it get in there"

"Your dad will tell you that"my mom giggles "well Emery...you see when 2......people give each other a....special hug that really love each other that makes a baby but you have to be grownups to do it"

"So if you give someone a hug but how does that make a baby"I am really confused right now "it just happens we will explain it to you when your grown up"

"Anymore questions"my mom asks

"No"I shake my head

"Oh thank god"my dad whispers

"Em tomorrow we get to go see the baby you will love it"my mommy tells me what does she mean see the baby how does that happen there is so many thoughts going around in my head I need to talk to my best friend "Mommy can you ring uncle Landon and ask if Addy can come over" Addy is 2 years older then me she is so smart she knows everything and we tell eachother everything we don't tell our parents

"Of course I'll ring now"she leaves the room

What feels like forever Addy finally comes over with her parents "Addy I have big news to tell you"I grab her hand and drag her down to my room

"What is it"she sits down at my desk "my mommy and daddy are having another baby it's a boy"

"Noway"she moves over and sits down on my bed

"And that's not the weirdest part they told me you make a baby by giving someone a hug but you have. To be grown up to do it"

"Emery are you dumb"she flicks my head "ouch what was that for"I snap

"If I tell you something you cannot say I told you"she says and I nod she explains to me exactly how to make a baby and I feel like I'm going to get sick "my mommy and daddy did that"I say and she nods "why did they lie to me"

"Because kids aren't ment to know but I read it in a book at the library when my daddy wasn't looking"

"That's gross"I say and she agrees

I still can't believe what addy told me we go down to our parents in the kitchen and I just give my angry look to my parents "Emery congratulations"Landon says to me and I just nod my dad puts his arms out for me to sit beside him he is probably wondering why I'm mad but he isn't touching me with those hands I shudder at the thought I'm going to make sure my mommy and daddy never do that again

By the time my my uncle and cousin leave it's my bed time "come one Emery time for bed"my dad tells me "can I sleep in your bed tonight"

"Why is everything alright"that's probably why my daddy doesn't let me sleep in his bed because what him and mommy do be doing I do my puppy eyes that I know my daddy can't say no to "I just am still a bit upset over today"I say in my baby voice

"Fine just for tonight"he says and I run into his room and jump into there bed and make sure to get in the middle
