Chapter 29-Hardin

Tomorrow is Christmas Eve and me and Tessa have been so busy we forgot all about to get the kids Santa oh it's done we get one every year so we are rushing to now to try get one

After 30 minutes in this god damn line it's finally us Emery runs and jumps straight onto his lap "go Auden look at Santa"I point up "no no no"he runs behind me "Baby Santa is not scary"Tessa says "yes he is" he grabs onto my leg I turn around and pick him up and try to place him on Santa's lap and he starts kicking and screaming

"Auden clam down buddy it's ok"I say trying to take the photo Emery has her biggest smile while Auden looks like he is getting killed once I take photo Tessa quickly rushes over to get Auden "Mama"he cries into her shoulder "it's ok baby"she tries to calm him and Emery says bye to Santa "Santa said I'm definitely on the good list"she says excitedly "well you still have one more day"I joke

"I hope I get everything I asked for"

"Well you made your list a month ago I say the elf's got your order"

"Nope I changed my whole list a few minutes ago"she says and me and Tessa look at each other "You can't do that Em it's to close to Christmas"I tell her "we will see"she skips ahead of us "how's Auden"

"Traumatised"Tessa says looking down at him in her arms "I don't like Santa"he says still a couple of tears falling and Tessa wipes them "here can you take him"Tessa asks and I take him from her arms

"Merry Christmas babe"I give her a kiss "Merry Christmas"she yawns "ready to get the kids up"I ask her and she climbs out of bed naked of course if we didn't have to get the kids up I would take her back to bed

Tessa goes to wake up Auden and I go to Emery "Merry Christmas princess"

"Noooo later"she slurs "time to get up see if Santa came"

"I wil...5 minutes"

"Wait is that Auden I hear opening your presents"I say and she snaps her eyes open "he better not"I have never seen her jump out of bed so fast "oh my god look at all these presents"Emery runs to the pile of presents "a bike"Auden says excited "I got a bike to this is so cool" my favourite part about Christmas is seeing the kids faces we never really spoil them we make sure they now they are lucky to have a happy home and a good life

"Auden is this so cool"Tessa says and he smiles "I'm so happy" Emery jumps into mine and Tessa's arms "were happy you are princess"I tell her "best Christmas EVVVVERRR"she shouts and we laugh "look"Auden points to his toys clapping his hand god I just love my children so much

"Em do you and Auden want to give Mommy your presents"I say and her and Auden go to the tree to get there presents and hand them to Tessa about 2 weeks ago I took the kids to a paint shop and they painted plates with there handprints on them she loves homemade gifts

"Oh my god I love them so much"she starts to tear up she is so emotional and Auden and Emery run over to hug her "I love my babies"she hugs them tightly "can't..breathe"Emery says "oh sorry"she let's go of them but Auden crawls into her lap "now Emery give Daddy's his"she nods it's a big box she drags over

I open the wrapping paper I know tessa did this it's perfect compared to my shit ass wrapping I open it and inside is a picture of me and the kids not just any picture my favourite picture of the 3 of us it was just after Auden was born and I was laying with them and Tessa took the photo without me knowing Auden is in my chest Emery at my side I found out she took it when I saw it was the screen saver of her phone she says it's her favourite picture aswell 

I can't wait to give her my present later on even tho she says I spend to much on her she deserves it but now we have to start Christmas dinner the family is coming here and I mean everyone "Ken,Karen,Abby,Landon and his family ,Vance ,Kim ,Karina and Smith it's going to be a lot of people
